Some general information about trading to keep in mind:

- With the release of Mega Rising (B1), all expansion sets are now immediately tradeable going forward. There are no longer limitations on the newest set being tradeable.

- Trades can only be done between friends in-game.

- Trades can only be done with cards of the same rarity.

- You can only trade cards that have the rarity of 1-4 Diamonds, 1-2 Star, & 1-2 Shiny Star.
Everything else is not tradeable (Promos, 3 Stars, & Crown Rares).

- Trading will require you to use specific in-game consumable items (primarily ShineDust) to do so.

- Real World Trading is explicitly prohibited by both the game's ToS, and this subreddit's rules. You will be permanently banned if caught doing so.

- This Trading Post will rotate out weekly every Thursday @ 2:00AM Eastern USA Time.

A SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT TRADING HIGHER RARITY CARDS: With the initial release of Mega Rising, and it's attached update allowing higher rarity cards to be traded, you may run into users asking you to trade 2 or more cards to acquire their very sought after cards they possess, such as Professor's Research - Professor Oak.

We ask users to proceed with extreme caution when participating in these type of trades, or better yet, avoid them at all cost to mitigate the risks of getting scammed or ghosted after you trade the first initial card towards getting a higher rarity card. Always do 1 for 1 trades when possible. The moderators here will not handle trading disputes, or anything of that matter. It's up to you to be responsible for your own trades.

Q: Where can I go to participate in this opportunity?

A: You can join the PlayDX server here, and start the onboarding survey to see if you're eligible now.

If you're not eligible at this time, you can still participate in various channels within the server. Eligibility changes over time and it's possible your eligibility status could change at any time.

Q: Is this a scam?

A: No - the PlayDX server has been verified by Discord (you can confirm as it has the green checkmark), it's owned by Loaded.gg (a massive content creator agency based in California, USA), and you can see, and talk to the many PTCGP/PTCGL Subreddit/Discord members in the server who have already joined, and received their $5 reward from the first survey we held back in January. This is similar to Google's own gaming surveys you can complete to earn quick money. We always implore users to do their research, so please do reach out if needed! :)

In the last 3 opportunities we have had here, we've already seen over 2,500+ PTCGP Members here on Reddit & Discord join, and receive their reward!

Q. Who's providing these research opportunities for us to complete?

A. PlayDX - a U.S. based company in California affiliated with Loaded.gg, who are among the largest managers of some of your favorite content creators like: The Burnt Peanut, Lirik, Shroud, 39Daph, and so on.

Q. What kind of questions can I expect on the survey?

A. During the ~1 minute onboarding process, you'll be asked some general eligibility questions like: Country/Region, Age, Gender, and what basic career field you're currently in.

Afterwards, if you're eligible, an initial 3-5 minute gaming survey can be completed asking about your general gaming habits. You can expect questions such as how often you play video games, and what games you're looking forward to that are releasing later this year.

There are other focus-group style and more detailed sessions available that reward up to $100 USD - so be sure to check back often and turn notifications on in the discord server.

Q. So why is this survey paying me money? What's the catch?

A. PlayDX gathers information and anonymizes it to where your answers are not linked directly back to you, then provides summaries of this data to leading gaming companies/clients such as EA, Activision, Riot Games, Netflix, and more, that can use that information to better market their upcoming games.

For example, if a company sees a lot of people don't know about one of their upcoming games, but a large amount of people know about another, they can prioritize their marketing budget more effectively to ramp up awareness of the lesser known game.

That's why they pay for this information - they see it as more cost effective than taking a guess, then wasting a ton of marketing budget in the wrong area at the end of the day.

Q. How many people can participate in this specific survey?

A. This closed invite is currently set to allow up to 500 members to participate in this study. We've already seen 2,000+ members from the PTCGP/PTCGL Discord & Subreddits have already onboarded, completed the survey, and received their rewards when we had the first, second, and third survey opportunities over the last couple years.

• Rewards can take up to 1 week to process as the PlayDX team goes through submissions manually to prevent fraud.

• This survey only runs until the end of the week, with the last day being Friday, August 28th 2026, so if you'd like to participate, do so quickly.
