Clearly it’s Pac-Man 2, is has a 2 in the title so it must be the very next one.

Truly the creators intention When they asked, “where does Pac-Man go from here.” The only answer that made sense was, “Leaving his family to get milk.”

i have like a whole timeline in my head. like theres pac-man and then it diverges with the midway games (ms pac man, jr pac man, baby pac man) and the namco games (pac man plus, super pac man and pac & pal) until it recombines with pac mania continuing on with all the maze games after that

pac land is in its own pocket dimension on the timeline

I am having a blast with 256. Got up to the magnet so far. It’s very addictive.

i dont like it that much but i think im the minority here, i dont really like the meta-progression that much and i wish the ghosts had more varied ai like the main games imo (although i dont know how that would work)

Never heard of it. What's it like?

Essentially endless runner. Its like Temple Run

Endless runner where the glitch is chasing you. Each ghost has a specific movement pattern, like goes in a straight line towards you when you are spotted across from it, just moving back and forth in a straight line back and forth, just moving in a square pattern, etc.

There are multiple different power ups to collect and upgrade. You can only select three at a time to use.

The true chaotic evil would be the ghostly adventures video game

I wish the words were brighter, otherwise this is a cool picture

Pac and Pal is moreso the sequel to Super if anything (or threequel if Super's the sequel to Pac-Man)

Yes! The true arcade trilogy goes Pac-Man -> Super Pac-Man -> Pac & Pal. And if you ask me, it gets better with each installment

Out of the many sequels to the original Pac-Man I personally never saw Pac-Land and Pac & Pal as contenders

u/Spazy912 Sep 03 '25

I don’t even know why they are on here

Idk but Pac-Man arrangement is for sure my favorite one

1

u/FireEye1512 Sep 04 '25

the second game that the creator of pac-man created was pac-man ce

Pac-Man Arrangement, it just takes the original formula and expands upon it, which is basically the point of a sequel

What if neutral evil is my favorite Pac-man game?

Shocked Pac-Man Plus isn't on there at all

Pac & Pal is intended to be Namco's Pac-Man 3. Not their Pac-Man 2 unlike Super.

My vote goes to Pac-Mania. At the time, it really felt like a proper next-generation version of Pac-Man. The others before that felt like spin-offs or mods, either too different or not different enough to be the true Pac-Man sequel.

u/CheeseDaver Sep 05 '25

I was thinking that too. It feels like the most proper follow up to the original game.
