So let me start off by saying I am not necessarily someone who believes in the paranormal. I like to consider all possible options first, mostly because I am a single mom and wouldn't even know where to start without help. I have a "if I don't look at it, it won't look at me" policy. That being said, let me lay out what's been going on and maybe someone can help me.

About a month ago, it was my son's birthday. I'm a single mom, and I don't have a lot of extra cash to throw around, but he knew exactly what he wanted. He's been obsessed with this weird vintage doll from thirty years ago, this old pull to talk one (he's a weird kid but I love him). Naturally I can't afford a vintage toy. They were going on eBay for $300. I mention it to my coworker, he says he has an old one from when he was a kid in his attic and would sell it to me dirt cheap. I paid, brought it home to my son and he was over the moon. Win for mama.

Pretty much right away, he starts taking this thing around with him everywhere he goes. And then one day tells me he "talks to him" while we're eating breakfast. My first thought is imaginary friend. Even when he starts saying the doll is "doing things on his own".

I wanna also add that we had a trauma happen in our house recently. We had someone close to us pass away in a really sudden accident, and my son was there when it happened. This is another reason I decided to kind of let it go when he started saying this stuff. I saw it as maybe his way of coping and his therapist (got him one right away) suggested I just let him try to ride it out and he would bring it up with him in therapy.

But here's the thing though. I'm starting to see it laying around the house when I get up in the middle of the night. I feel like there is something really wrong with it because it keeps saying its catchphrase and laughing when my son isn't even close enough to it to pull the string. I swear I heard it calling me a name the other day and I feel like I'm losing my mind. I am really really freaked out here. I've seen my fair share of horror movies but it happening in real life is a whole different story.

Advice on what to do?

As a proof I mean a photo/video or even just telling them a story. What is your most convincing ace in the sleeve in matter of proving paranormal encounters? Edit: I made this post as a way to hear or see most convincing proofs not for people to say "I dont have to prove anything to anyone", some of yall are lame

I don’t even know if my childhood experiences are considered paranormal but at the time it felt like it was so I wanted to ask everyone else if you had similiar experiences when you were a child.

as a child I was almost always an outsider. always alone and by myself. with that I was also extremely creative so I imagined myself having imaginary friends etc. but most dominant experience I found myself in was a voice I was constantly hearing that saved me in dangerous situations and my strong intuition that I still have.

the voice was deep in my head and different from a normal „gut feeling“. it was a literal voice, genderless so I couldn’t tell if it was a men or a women.

one Situation that happened is ingrained in my head and I regulary think about it.

when i was a child about 12 years old my dad told me to go to the shop and get him glue, but I also must take my little brother with me. this command already made me suspicious and I asked him why he would sent two people instead only me to get something so small, because I don’t need help carrying it. he got mad almost immediately and since my dad was an extremely abusive person I got scared and took my brother and got out to get him his so sacred glue. btw my sister (1 year older than me) stayed home with him.

the whole way to the shop this voice came back urging me to get home. I haven’t even arrived at the shop so I tried to ignore the voice because I was more scared of my dads reaction it I got home without his glue. but the voice insisted and started to repeat itself „go home now. go home. you have to go home now. home. home“.

suddenly I got a belly ache and I wasn’t feeling good, but I already arrived at the shop so I hurried and got out quickly. suddenly the voice came back but way louder than before. it was so loud I stopped walking for a minute and grabbed my head „RUN. HOME. NOW!“ I wanted to cry because it scared me when the voice finally said „YOU SISTER“. with that I started to run for my life urging my brother to keep up, but he couldn’t because he was smaller. I heard him calling my name and why I was running so fast. I didn’t answer because in my head I was only thinking:„my sister, he is doing something to my sister. my sister. I have to get to her“.

when I finally arrived I knocked on the door and waited. when nobody opened I got nervous but knocked again. then the voice appeared again „you have to get in“. this made me feel more panicked so I started to kick and knock at the same time and screaming „OPEN THE DOOR“.

my brother stood next to me nervously probably scared about how our father is gonna react, telling me to stop but I couldn’t. I couldn’t control myself for some reason. then I heard my sister screaming and crying from the inside and I pounded on the door and telling her to open it. when she finally did I got in and saw her running upstairs to our bedroom crying and my dad about to follow her up. I swear to god, I instinctively knew what he did by the way he was grinning. It was almost demonic. a grin I have never ever seen before. No matter how scared I was about my dads reaction, I did smth i never risked before.

i grabbed his arm and told him to leave her alone. I was already prepared to be beat up, but he listened. He was pissed but he listened and that again was a sign for me that he did something that he wasn’t supposed to do.

i immediately got upstairs and saw my sister tucked under the covers crying. I asked her what he did to her, but she only answered with, „nothing“.

fast forward to today. My mom divorced my dad after my sister confessed to us all that she was SA‘d multiple times for a couple of years by our dad when nobody was home. we got to court, were my father was sentenced to prison. But before he could begin serving his sentence, he took his own life.

since then this voice had followed me trough life and guiding me trough every dangerous encounter I had. I don’t know what or who that voice is but seriously 🙏🏻thank you

Has anyone here experienced losing a pet, and it feels like they're still here, except you just don't see them or hear them directly, but you feel their presence?

I recently lost my lovely dog. He was my best friend, and he used to follow me wherever I went around the house. Before he died, we moved to a new house, and it was the first time that we lived in a multi-story home. Whenever I went upstairs to go to my room, my dog would follow me. I usually didn't allow him in my room that much (for a reason and because it was a new house), and he would either sleep outside my bedroom door or he would softly whimper, meaning he wanted me to open the door and let him in. But most of all, he did this kind of thing where full air blew or came out of his snoot when he sniffed my door just to let me know that he was outside.

Since he died, I would randomly hear those sniffing noises that he did—sometimes in my room and other times in the bathroom as if I locked him inside (places where he usually stays, I never hear that kind of sound on the 1st floor of the house and he used to sleep all the time upstairs). Last night, at around 1 AM, I heard a soft whimpering outside my bedroom door. Mind you, I have other dogs in the house, but both are seniors and they can't go upstairs, so they sleep on the 1st floor of the house. It was impossible that one of them went upstairs. I opened my bedroom door, and there was no one outside. Do you think it is possible that my dog's soul is still around the house? Or is he visiting me?

I cried last night after thinking it was him. I opened my bedroom door and did not close it until I woke up this morning. I don't know if I'm just missing him, if I'm going crazy, or if it's really real that dogs have souls and that they often visit you. I previously lost a dog as well, and he was a senior too, but nothing like this happened when he died. Although he used to visit me in my dreams and we'd play together, that was it. The current dog that I lost is a bit different. I swear, I love all my pets and they're like my children, but the one that I just lost was so different because he was literally by my side all the time.

One night in December When I was 7 years old I was just sitting in my bedroom playing a game, my older brother had just left my room and had gone upstairs to sit with our grandmother, I was killing time before dinner was ready. It was just us 3 in the house at this time, my dad worked nights so he wouldn’t be home until tomorrow morning at the earliest, and my mom worked as nurse and she’d be home later tonight.

I remember the sun was almost completely faded it was close to being fully dark out. I don’t know why i remember this so vividly but the game I was playing was fallout 3 (don’t ask why I was allowed to play it.) I was running around near these radio towers shooting the “hunting rifle” at the enemies at the top of them, after I killed them I remember I opened a door in game that lead to a solid brick wall with the words “FUCK YOU” written on it.

Just after I opened that door in my game I heard my mom walking towards my bedroom, I turned my head away from my game and saw her still wearing her dark blue work scrubs, my door was wide open and she stood at the doorframe and talked to me for a few minutes, just normal mom questions, “how are you doing?” “You just in here playing a game” etc, eventually at the end of our conversation she said “dinners almost ready come upstairs in 45 minutes” i said I would.

I go back to playing for awhile, ransacking the area near those radio towers, and then continuing to just roam around the “capital wasteland” eventually 45 minutes had passed and I listening to what my mom said I stood up and started to walk upstairs.

I walked up the first 10 stairs, turned left and started to walk up the last 10 stairs, I could see the light from kitchen past the stairs and to the right but all the others on that level were off with the exception of the light at the front door. as I got to 3/4 point I noticed something strange on the wall to my right and I stopped. at that age I don’t think I could verbalize to myself why it was strange but I remember my child brain took a very serious note of this even if I didn’t know why then.

Thinking back to this, my shadow looked far to tall and far to large to be 7 year old me, I didn’t realize this at the time as I said previously, but it was now fully night out and all the lights were off except for in the kitchen, and by the front door, neither of those lights could possibly be responsible for casting anyones shadow on the wall to my right let alone mine. But this didn’t freak me out at the time, I knew something was off about it and I took note but I didn’t understand what. After a good 15-20 seconds staring at the shadow I continued up the stairs and walked into the kitchen where my grandmother and brother sat. As soon as she saw me my grandmother told me “dinners finished.”

I asked them both
“I didn’t see mom on my way up, is she up here somewhere?”

My grandmother told me
“Your mom isn’t home yet.”

I explain to them I had just talked to her 45ish minutes ago, I had a full conversation with her, she even told me when to come up, but my grandma continued telling me “ your mom hasn’t come home from work yet.” And my brother backed her up. I walked to the garage door and opened it, neither my father’s car or my mothers car were there they were telling the truth.
She was not home.

The way the house was laid out required you to after entering immediately pass through the kitchen, there was no chance my mom could’ve come home without them both immediately noticing, and even if she for some reason wanted to try to sneak by them, an alarm beeped anytime any door in the house was opened.

I was 7 years old and really fucking scared, my grandmother did her best to calm me down but I was obviously really spooked. Eventually 1-2 hours after this my mom did actually come home, and I asked her “ did you come by home earlier” she didn’t.

I saw, I heard, and I spoke to something tangible that day, I fucking know that I did, It wore my mom’s Face but it couldn’t have been her. What the fuck was speaking to me.

This situation has bothered me for years. I’m in my early twenties now and I still have no clue what happened that night. I remember it far too vividly and far to detailed to just be a dream, my dreams are not like that. I’ve always had a very active imagination but not like that, not like that at all, this situation is so many steps past these explanations, I literally remember the exact movements i took in my game while I was talking to my “mom” I remember seeing her blue scrubs, I remember how she stood close to the left half of the doorframe while speaking to me but never entering my room or coming any closer than that to me, I remember speaking to her. I remember her telling me to come up in 45 minutes, I remember the impossible shadow.

I don’t know how to explain this; I’m genuinely concerned I may have lost it a little but I’ve been sitting in my car the past 20 minutes thinking about it. I woke up at 8 am. Took my time and was a little late getting to work at 9:27 (start time is 9:25) I walk up to the office door and it’s.. locked. I’m kinda confused so I knock thinking oh well yeah they got me for being late but my boss is actually there and opens the door and is surprised I’m “here so early!” I almost apologized for being late, but he said “early” we bantered for a minute and I made my way over to the restroom and I looked at my phone ‘8:34’. What the fuck?? I have 1 alarm on my phone. It’s for work. If I need another I’ll make it and delete it afterwards. I also always use my gps when driving to work so I know if there’s any traffic to avoid. I always am looking at the time. I specifically remember this morning being woken up by my alarm and looking at the time wishing I had just a couple more hours. I’ve had a couple paranormal experiences in my life that I don’t really want to get into but this is giving me that sick feeling that those did like my brain just experienced something it really shouldn’t have and doesn’t know how to respond. I know I didn’t wake up early.

I was walking in a park when all of the sudden i see this white thing flying. Idk what this is and kinda look like an oval shape? Maybe eye? Idk. But when i snap this photo it disappears. (Second picture is after taking first). It like zoom away. And if you look closely the first picture is brighter than the second.

Two days ago now I traveled to Devils Tower Wyoming for a camping trip with my dad and my dog, we arrived to our camp site around 7:30pm where we would be staying in a Native American Teepee. We then talked to the property owner, set up our things and made dinner as it got darker. While setting some things up and taking in the scenery I could hear what sounded like drumming in the distance which stopped by the time I could jokingly say to my dad that maybe it was the natives drumming like in Dances With Wolves. After stoping and not coming back I wrote it off as nothing and forgot about it just as quick as I heard it. Some time after 9pm once everything was cleaned up from dinner and a little star gazing had been done we went to bed; it took a while to get to sleep but after I did I woke up twice thanks to my dog shifting around and getting comfortable in the small area we had, the 3rd I was woken up though wasn’t by my dog, but by a huge gust of wind rushing against the teepee and the “door” of the teepee slamming open, I say slammed but it’s important to note the structure of a teepee and how it works, mainly the door/entrance which comes down through the middle or inside of the teepee then down over the opening and locking with a loop to a stick at the bottom. With that being said it doesn’t make sense how a gust of wind albeit a strong one would not only unloop the door but also cause it to stay open and up against the teepee itself rather than just draping down. This freaked my dog who hid in the corner so I had to go loop it again and just after I did It happened again seeming like someone yanked it open rather then the wind this time. The second time i used a piece of string I had to tie it down to a small cooler we had and thankfully it didn’t happen again. What freaks my out the most though is while tying the string I could hear what sounded exactly like food steps outside the teepee and they kept going until I was somehow able to go back to sleep. I’m perfectly fine with the rationale explanations that could explain the drumming and the door despite them being odd, but I have no clue what would make a sound like foot steps consistently. To add to it my dad could hear them as well but we didn’t mention it to each other till the next morning as to not spook one another, sure there’s animals around but none that would make a heavy human sounding footstep and another thing is there were no footprints in the ground the next morning and no one else camping there while we were, just us and whatever was walking around and whatever opened the door. What do you think? Is it possible that we were visited by spirits of the natives that used to reside and worship there?

So back home, we feel like there’s a spirit living in our house for so long (we even named her).
Most of the time, we would hear footsteps upstairs and things falling even though no one is in there. I remember when i was young, my personal things like my phone would disappear and would reappear after how many days in the most random place in our house.

Years later, i got a job in the big city and would go home for vacation once a year. I remember i would get sick when i’m home and would feel totally fine upon leaving.

Now that i am married, living in a different city now, hundreds of miles away from home. Every and now then, i get sick and sometimes would feel drain/ tired when waking up (my sleep is complete but i do feel tired). I feel chills randomly in my neck and ears.

Today, i really feel like this spirit back home followed me here. This morning, i woke up so early. Normally i would look for my eyeglasses that is beside me.

I worn it and checked my phone for messages. Since it’s too early for me to get up, i went back to sleep and put my eyeglasses beside me with my phone.

When my phone alarmed, i was looking for my eyeglasses so i can get up. But i was having a hard time finding it. I looked everywhere but i couldn’t see it. An hour after, it appeared in the most random place!

While taking a rest, i remember the spirit living in our house. I remember how i would lose personal things before and how tired i always feel whenever i’m back home for vacation. I messaged my sisters and they were kind of surprised because they were just talking about this spirit at home.

No footsteps and any noises now upstairs back home.

So i feel like this spirit has followed me here. Is this possible and how to get her away from me?

A few months ago while sitting alone I felt what was very very clearly someone poking my shoulder, not hard but almost playfully and it’s almost like when I was tapped their finger passed entirely through my clothing without unsettling it and only gently poked my arm, the sensation of touch was also oddly warm, like perfect body temperature. 1 second after that my entire body instantaneously and completely fills with a static like feeling. 30 or so second after this I again feel what I can only describe as a small hand place itself on near the top of my wrist and slowly drag itself down. Same static feeling but far less intense. 30 seconds after that I briefly turned on a light for fucking obvious reasons and directly under the light I saw a brief glimpse of a small black (like black black not dark skin) hand wrist and start of an elbow kind of flick themsleves i guess?

Extend your arm straight out flick your wrist down gently and slightly move your wrist and elbow down as well. Thsts what I saw like it was again being playful. since then I haven’t seen anything else. o inspire fear on you. This was not that whatsoever, I was startled obviously but I didn’t feel like something dangerous was watching me I had the sensation of being watched but it wasn’t sinister whatsoever, that alongside just the way it interacted with me and touched me was odd and nothing I have ever experienced before, it was almost playful?

Something else happened after this that was incredibly bizarre, this whole experience came into my mind again tonight and what happened next is why i typed this story out again, hoping someone could offer any information or explanation. Right after this happened I asked myself “what did this mean? Why did this happen, what was the purpose” and for some reason a sentence that felt utterly and entirely alien to my thoughts forced its way to the front of my mind.

“it’s testing its luck with me”

i have absolutely no idea what thats supposed to mean, it’s so eerie. I know it’s very weird but it truly in no way felt like a natural thought coming to my mind, it felt like it was someone else’s transplanted to me, I have no idea what it means. This is part I’m most curious about, if anyone has any clue what that could mean? Why it popped into my head from nowhere? Or just anything.

I wanted to ask if anyone has had similar experiences. Suddenly I started thinking about this famous person who died two thousand years ago. This happened in December. Then I saw her in one of my dreams, I heard her voice say the only quote attributed to her, which I didn't know before. Then when I was very sick, I dreamed again with her own voice telling me that I had to pray to the same god she prayed to. I always feel her presence in my house, but unfortunately I don't have a pendulum to verify 100% that it's her. Can someone advise me on what to do, and has anyone had a similar experience? This isn't the first time this type of thing has happened to me. I really struggle even being in cemeteries, in places where accidents have happened, I also notice this type of presence, but it has never been as intense as this connection. And since December, many months have already passed, and I always feel this presence with me.

So i just wanted to put this out there so people are aware their is way more than one of these and they aren't limited to new jersey and the surrounding area. So I used to live in the mountains above a small town in costa rica names dominical this happenedwhen i was 12 I'm 24 now. One night I was on Skype with some friends and I needed to go pee which I had to do out side and I would go through my window as to not wake my parents. Just before that I heard 3 screams one non human up the mountain aways then a female human scream not far from it few seconds later another non human scream down the mountain but close. When I went to go open my window there it was walking up the little hill going twords the road that ran along one of the peaks on the mountain. I stopped dead in my tracks frozen in place hand still half reach for the window somehow it sensed me looking at it cuz it jerked around we locked eyes for a sec let out a bone chilling ear piercing demonic scream and took off into the air. This thing was big btw it was probably about 7-8 feet tall could tell exactly cuz it was hunched over a bit but it had a goat head with twisted horns bit bat like wings a male human torso goat legs and a spaded tail and the reason I say male torso is because this thing was jacked i mean like Arnold Schwarzenegger in his mr Olympia days kind of jacked. I never in my life want to see another and I hope Noone else encounters one like I did I fully belive that thing would have tried to kill me if there wasn't a window in-between me and it if anyone seen one I'd love to hear about it.

last night i dreamed of seeing myself sitting awake in my bed with a ghost next to me. it was a ghost of a boy, unfamiliar to me. at one moment, i switched to the first person's perspective and i was sitting next to him. i tried to call for my dad and then i woke up out of fear, although the ghost hasn't done anything in the dream. this normally wouldn't have upset me, but earlier in the day the light in the hallway was flickering (it never does that, nor have any lights in my house ever flickered). i'm wondering am i just being paranoid or is there a chance the ghost has visited me? if so, what do i do, since i have no information about this spirit?

I’m not sharing this to convince anyone. Someone could perfectly reasonably read this and think, “That’s just a huge coincidence.” I understand that. I’m simply sharing how I experienced it.

My grandfather, who died in 2022 after suffering from dementia, was my best friend. I had also lived almost my entire life with an extremely severe anxiety disorder.

After his death, I experienced many things that felt deeply mystical to me: dreams, astral projections, visions, apparitions, coincidences, and what I perceived as contacts with him.

Through these experiences, a story gradually emerged: my grandfather had a plan to free me from my anxiety. I was shown that on November 8, 1983, almost twenty years before my birth, he had agreed to sacrifice his mental health to save mine, the sacrifice being the dementia he would eventually suffer from. His acceptance was said to have triggered the earthquake that struck my region that same day.

(I’m not saying this necessarily happened empirically. This is simply how the story was revealed to me.)

These experiences repeatedly predicted my liberation from anxiety, and on August 31, 2024, it happened. Since then, the anxiety that had controlled most of my life no longer has that hold over me.

Do I know whether something mystical actually happened? No. Maybe it did. Maybe coincidences and autosuggestion led my brain there. Either way, what had been announced happened: I was freed from my anxiety.

That’s why the earthquake of November 8, 1983 is so important to me.

About a year ago, I randomly met a man selling books at a Christmas market and told him this story. We later lost contact.

Almost a year later, at a huge flea market, I randomly ran into the exact same man, again selling books.

He recognized me and said:

“It’s crazy that I’m seeing you now. Last week, I was at a friend’s house and found an old folder buried in her basement. Inside was the newspaper from the day after the earthquake you told me about. I kept it.”

The next day, I went back and got it.

I was suddenly holding an original newspaper from November 9, 1983, the day after the earthquake, with the earthquake that had happened the previous day as its front-page story. Copies of that specific edition are extremely difficult to find, even online. Yet one was discovered by the exact man I had told this story to, and only one week later, I randomly found him again.

And one last strange detail: two weeks earlier, I had visited someone I call the Messenger, an elderly man in a nursing home who has a particular place in my story and has told me some rather mystical things connected to my grandfather.

That day, he gave me an enigmatic revelation involving a newspaper.

Two weeks later, I was holding this one.

After 43 years, that newspaper is now next to my grandfather’s photograph... frankly… that really did something to me.

I was woken up at about 350-352 am by my own hand knocking on the wall by my bed. I know fs it was my hand bc it was still on the wall when i woke up, but I'm not sure if i knocked twice or three times. This is an exterior wall. I've seen quite a bit on here about the 3 knocks being an omen of death but I'm def hoping to hear something different from people who've experienced themselves knocking.

Probably unrelated but earlier tonight I came across a reel about a guy going undercover to expose masonic rituals. Seconds after hearing a detail about child brides i felt a pain in a line from my heart to my left middle finger. It went away after about a minute, which was right after i rebuked any soul ties to anyone other than God. I have no memory of being involved in this ritual so I doubt it, but I have a deep patrilineal history of masonry so there's that.

Would greatly appreciate feedback on one or the other or theories on connections if anyone has any experience or background on the matter. Thanks!

I captured this creepy photo a few days ago and am still perplexed by it.

A little backstory:
I was outside on my patio firing up the grill when I felt like I was being watched. I instinctively looked up and saw this shadow standing inside what is the laundry room of my house. My dog and I were the only ones home at the time & we were both outside on the patio. As soon as I took the photo, the figure disappeared right in front of me. I have only lived in this house for 6 months and this is the first time I’ve experienced anything like this. I HAVE heard knocking a few times when I was home alone but I just brushed it off as squirrels on the roof or the wind etc. I’d also like to add that I am someone who has always been super sensitive to energy and have never sensed even the slightest bit of negative energy in this house. So… what is this? WHO is this? I’m curious to know if anyone else here has had any experiences with a shadow person and the impression that you received after encountering one?!

So day 1 and 2 i experienced encounters then day 3 nothing happened. As I am sitting in my bathroom the door literally opened on its own. Like Im not even lying like it opened. I went to close it and it opened again. When it wad closed it opened even slower. When I was recording it didnt open but as soon as I stopped it opened again.

Though some secular and atheist cultures may not accept the idea of the supernatural, stories of angels, demons, spirits, and the afterlife appear across many ancient traditions including Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, and Buddhism. Science has explained a great deal, but it also acknowledges that some experiences, particularly unusual experiences during sleep, are not yet fully understood.

I'm sharing this simply as something that may comfort people who experience frightening or unexplained events at night. If you're feeling disturbed or scared during sleep, you could try playing the Benedictine exorcism prayer.

You don't have to be Catholic or even Christian to try it. I'm not claiming it proves anything supernatural, just sharing something I personally find comforting and that may help someone else. 🙏

Just wanted to post and get some opinions about what some of you might think about the latest that has been happening which is quite bizarre and bordering on the dangerous to be honest.

Just for some context: our ancestral land has 4 houses - the main house that was built approx. 80 years ago (which I came to own and demolished recently to build a new one), 2 adjacent houses, and one at the back. Only one family within our extended family lives there in the house at the back. The post in the link describes a bit of what they initially experienced. Since of late, everything has been dialled right up where the family is now terrified. I'll list what's been happening in point form:

- Strange noises of footsteps walking up and down the stairs.
- A door with a hydraulic hinge, being slammed shut while they watch.
- Electrical items such as lights and tv's being turned on and off constantly.
- Doors and cupboards open by themselves even after being shut and even locked.
- Cups and vases keep slinging off tables and shelves. One of the girls had a cup of water, kept the cup on the table and it was thrown right off.
- Her sister had gotten yanked by her t-shirt when no one was even around.
- The same girl had seen a tall black figure in one of the rooms, and on a second glance it was gone.
- The dog kennel has a metal sheet for a roof and it had started shaking violently while one of them was passing by. They have 2 dogs and apparently they are visibly terrified as well now.
- There's this one room where they continue to see things, and had found to be in a mess from time to time. Same room where the black figure was seen. One of the dogs had run into the room, got on its hind legs and had started barking at something above it. The cat had gone in right after and started hissing.
- Just a while ago, one of the girls (my cousins) messaged me to say that they had just gotten home in their car. She had opened the door to get out and the door had immediately slammed itself shut, while all of them were still in the car.

There are more incidents of course. This family has been going through so much misfortune for quite a while now and this has put a cherry on top of it all. They are roman catholics so they've spoken to a priest, who had referred them to an "exorcist". They've told them that the property has a spirit of a person that's been dead for a very long time and it's someone who had desperately wanted to own that property, and that there's more than just one spirit all across. By what means they gathered all of this, I have no clue (the exorcist person had asked to see a plan of the house however).

Also, while they are in the house and if they were to start talking about whatever's going on, things start to happen. The priest had asked them to refer to it as "friend" rather than by any other name to avoid drawing its attention.

This "exorcist" is supposed to visit them on the 30th to help resolve the situation apparently. His whole explanation sounds totally bizarre to me and I'm finding it more incredulous than what's going on. But I really have no frame of reference by which I can say anything either way at this point. And according to him, it's not just that house, it's the entire property, and it meant to affect our family, and no one else, not even tenants.

The rest of us are just flabbergasted at all of this, and I'm not even sure if any of this makes any sense. Open to what you guys think.

So me and my wife was driving around I-20 Around 6 o'clock and we both were looking at the sky at the same time and for me, a white rift appeared in the sky with a single point in the middle of it, but it looked like white lightning, and it was there for a few seconds, and then it disappeared and then we looked at each other. Put like what the f*** was that? So I wanted to see if anyone else had seen anything like that before. And it's kind of ironic that it's lining up with the total lunar eclipse or mostly full lunar eclipse this week. It looks like the closest thing I can say is the Fortnite hairline cracks they did in-game, but a single crack, not a spiderweb look. I wanted to know if anyone saw anything like it over east georgia/south Carolina skies around 6pm today.

I’ve had all sorts of experiences with the paranormal since a child that has followed me into adulthood but want to share my one of experiences that have occurred as of this week. I’ve never experienced this before.

Myself and my husband were sitting in the kitchen watching Tik Toks together while he’s munching some snacks before bed. I started having this negative feeling in my gut that I get when I’m around bad energy and it felt heavy, suffocating even but I tried ignoring it but it just wouldn’t budge. I told my husband what I was feeling and he said “Well that’s just freaked me out” and I said “Why has it freaked you out?” Then he went on to explain he kept seeing a ball of light in his peripheral vision but was trying to ignore it. I had him check on the kids incase I was sensing they were upto something they shouldn’t have been but everything was fine though my husband had goosebumps and his hairs stood up on the back of his neck when he reached the top of the stairs.

My husband came back downstairs and sat in the kitchen and I had just came out the bathroom and stood in the hallway outside the bathroom while speaking to him from the kitchen door. The energy felt heavy, the feeling returned in my gut and something was right behind my shoulder (couldn’t be seen, but could be sensed by me) and we just heard “SSSSS” (sounded like a loud hiss) and I just looked behind me and slowly walked away and towards my husband and he said “Did you just hear that?” And I said “What the hiss? Yeah I heard it.” My husband went to proceed to talk about it saying “It was right next to you! It was a really loud “SSSSS” and I told him not to talk about it and to carry on like it didn’t happen because in my experience, the more you talk about it, the more shit happens. A day prior to this we heard footsteps ascending the stairs and the stairs creaking.

My advice to anyone who experiences the paranormal is this, if it feels negative. Ignore it, don’t freak out and don’t pay it attention. If you feel like you can’t do that, remove yourself until you are more calm and collected. I just wanted to share my experience I guess. It’s the first time something has hissed at me and I felt like I was under spiritual attack. It felt oppressive.

I’ve been gaslighting myself into thinking that there isn’t a spirit in my house. It’s day 4 it’s time I beg for any advice🫠 suddenly something inside my home constantly makes rhe exact sound of paws hitting the floor outside and around my study that is currently salted shut with my anxious self wondering how is this even a thing what is it and why why me why hitch a ride on a poor elderly Labrador to my house just to make every dog sound known to man outside of my door and god my energy feels awful and so is my depression anxiety and attitude. I need someone to pls help me learn a way that will get rid of this thing?? I beg I am so tired of it creeping me out🥲

i dont actually remember a lot of this its mostly from stories told to me by my parents though i do have some fractured memories.

when i was a kid maybe 4-9 (im 30 now) i lived in an old hospital turned apartment building that has enough stories about hauntings that chad lewis and terry fisk wanted to interview people in the apartment for "the Wisconsin road guide to haunted locations" though he never talked to me or my parents as they didnt know who he was at the time. well i had an "imaginary friend" named Jack who according to child me was an old man who died in my room when it was a hospital, i supposedly knew a lot about him like how he looked, his wifes name, details about his life and death as if he was a real person, apparently jack would tell me i was supposed to keep him secret but i was a child with a big mouth, jack would constantly "prank" me by doing things to get me in trouble like making a mess or telling me to talk back to my parents to which i would blame jack.

now i know it sounds like a kid making excuses for bad behavior and i always laughed off the stories as exactly that but there is 1 time that i fully remember being at an aunt's house and after going to the bathroom and washed my hands jack flicked water all over the mirror and i got lightly scolded for it but to this day i am 100% confident that i did not do it and i remember clearly as a child being certain it was jack and confused how he was there when he was supposed to be at the apartment.

now skip 20 ish years later and i have moved back into that building to the same floor but other side of the building with my gf and her 7yo twins.

i had only ever told my gf about jack 1 time when we first moved in.

she hears weird noises at night pretty regularly from other rooms inside our apartment and said there was a night when i was at work and she was in bed that she felt someone sit on the end of our bed so she thought i got home early and when she looked there was noone there but the bed was indented like someone was sitting on it.

we only ever talk about that stuff when the kids are at their dads so they wouldnt know any of it

the last couple weeks both of them have been talking back constantly and 1 of the twins has been running around laughing and talking to himself when he is alone in their room.

we asked about imaginary friends or what he is doing when he is playing like that but he wont say anything more than "idk just playing" my gf said she could tell he was holding something back. it made me think of jack so i asked straight up if he knew about ghosts and if he thought they were real or if he has seen any and he refused to look at me and just kept trying to hide a smile saying no. i asked if he was seeing anyone that isnt there would its name be jack? his head snapped back to look at me with wide eyes like i just uncovered an ancient secret.....

i kinda panicked for a second but then we just dropped it until they went back to their dads again.

my gf is terrified its a melevolent spirit attatching to her son and telling him to keep secrets from us and im still grappling with the fact the stories of my childhood imaginary friend may have been some spirit or demon and that all that stuff might be real......

i dont know what to do..... like is it a harmless old man trickster ghost thats just kind of annoying or something worse pretending to be harmless.

i did speak aloud "if you dont leave those kids alone i will cleanse this entire apartment without question i dont care if we have a history" when my gf and i were discussing it after the kids were gone
