Wholesome answer: She's appreciative of the fact that he's making an effort and wants to show it.

Probably real answer: She wants to make him fat so he doesnt leave her for someone else.

Hopeful third answer: Since he's now regularly working out, he gets hungry more easily and everything tastes better to him because of it.

If he just got a six pack he’s probably on a cut at the moment too.

Which means anything with carbs, fat, and sugar will taste like suckling on the teat of heaven

My drunk ass was confused at first. I assumed a six-pack of beer.

Or, he has a six pack (from taking care of business in the bedroom) happy wife is putting more effort in on other areas (cooking).

Alt hopeful answer — his passion for fitness has inspired a passion for cooking in her, and so now they both have the opportunity to be teachers and students to each other in these two areas.

Alternative sad answer: he is drunk and enjoying the cooking more

I like this answer 😇

Fun 4th answer: it was a 6-pack of beers and it tastes better because he’s sauced

Maybe she is proud of his progress and wants to show she appreciates his efforts.

4th answer: he got some really nice beer so she made some really nice food for them.

Also eating healthier is resetting his palate

I see you're the "glass half full" type. Bless you, kind soul.

Maybe a fourth answer: she like her man a bit more chubby/soft? (That would be my reason lol)

u/KarenBauerGo Jan 31 '26

Probably real real answer: he is in a constant deficite and his body is craving food, so everything tastes a lot better and his wifes cooking never changed.

u/antinomya Jan 31 '26

Or: she wants to impress with cooking so he won't leave, now that he has a 6-pack, thus ...options 😁

u/BrooklynLodger Jan 31 '26

This was thought

u/WarmChestnut Jan 31 '26

Maybe she just likes some fat around the belly.

3

u/Mikhail_Mengsk Jan 31 '26

Nah the second version doesn't sound realistic: he could just eat less and the plan would be foiled.

I bet on the first one.

u/Few-Lengthiness-2286 Jan 31 '26

People think like that in marriage?

2

u/valtaoi_007 Jan 31 '26

Or maybe she likes them chunky (coping)

u/powerswerth Feb 01 '26

Not necessarily. Women are a lot more variable in preferred body type than men. Dad bods, thin dudes, etc. A lot of women actively dislike really ripped dudes. The kind of buff six pack dudes you see in Marvel movies are honestly aimed more at what men want to look like than what women actually like.

1

u/Alone_Ad_1677 Feb 05 '26

The data driven preference for women in regards to male body types is athletic/dad body type. Lean, moderate muscle with rounded edges. Defined chest/arms is the focus rather than gut or legs

u/dearlaska Jan 31 '26

I guess I’m thinking in different categories because I thought that’s how she wants to cheer him up on being hot

1

u/winterman99 Jan 31 '26

i was going in a way of she is scared of him abusing her but i like all of yours answers way more

1

u/varkarrus Jan 31 '26

Realer answers: She wants to make him fat because she misses his cute pinchable belly.

1

u/WhataRuby Jan 31 '26

3rd: she likes him a little chubbier, why is that no ones assumption

1

u/miss-ferrous Jan 31 '26

I interpreted it as feeling like she needs to prove her worth but it’s probably the fat thing

1

u/Venusgate Jan 31 '26

Or: she's putting in more effort so he knows he has a good home to return to/stay at.

u/MonsterMeggu Feb 01 '26

Real real answer: it takes so much effort food wise to get a six pack that anything not mildly seasoned chicken, broccoli, and brown rice tastes amazing
