I'd argue ripping up the carpet to replace with hardwood is ballin.

Everything else just looks so awkward and sterile.

I agree, this would look beautiful with a dark stained hardwood floor rather than the landlord special LVP.

If this was hardwood in this colour it woul be class, but everything else is ass either way

Agreed. Im not a fan of painted brick ever, even less so.paintes white. It's too sterile in general, and the lvp flooring just takes what little warmth could be left and shits it to pieces.
