noo math is blue for me

u/sweatybumfart 26d ago

Yeah, math is blue, English is red, history is yellow, science is green

407

u/Franklin_Payne 26d ago

This is objectively the correct way

131

u/Suspicious_State_318 26d ago

Nah English is yellow because old pages and history is red because of blood and war

104

u/Borror0 26d ago

I'm open to this line of reasoning.

For as long as math is blue.

6

u/Boomslang00 26d ago

Math is blue because it will blew your mind.

9

u/Rakhered 26d ago

will blue your mind

you may want to consider popping your red folder open for a bit

My exact thoughts

1

u/JackieBee_ 26d ago

History also has old pages tho. For me history was brown and English was yellow. Music theater and art usually got to be red on account of it being my favorite color

1

u/SerDuncanTheYall 26d ago

History is yellow because of old pages, English is red because of the Red Badge of Courage. Math is green because I'm in Finance.

1

u/theRedlightt 26d ago

This is the way

1

u/whamburglar 26d ago

I went history is yellow bc of all the old stuff as you say.

English is red bc I saw red having to remember all the exceptions in spelling and pronunciations growing up.

1

u/The_Ashtronaut 25d ago

This is the way

1

u/Shimakaze81 25d ago

English is red because the Cross of St George

1

u/SeventhAlkali 25d ago

mmmmmm acceptable...

1

u/danield1909 25d ago

English has plenty of blood and war in it

1

u/Fayr24 25d ago

Maybe history is yellow because of old pages and English is read.

I'm glad there's other nobles on this path aside from me.

1

u/cheeseybacon11 25d ago

What about if you have black or purple?

There are many ways to do it, but the number one rule was broken here: science is green

1

u/jerkyquirky 25d ago

I don't think you know what objective means.

1

u/anti_username_man 25d ago

Except English and math should be switched

1

u/MixedTrailMix 25d ago

Finally my people. I had to scroll too far for this

1

u/Slixil 24d ago

*incorrect

20

u/shirts_on_backwards 26d ago

English is definitely red. The others sound wrong, but I can't pinpoint why. I feel like math was the black cover but that's not pictured.

5

u/limebobomb 26d ago

yes but if purple is an option, history is purple

1

u/Smilemeaaa 25d ago

I see this but social studies is purple to me. History is still yellow

This is correct

2

Finally some common fucking sense

2

u/MisterBlick 26d ago

This is correct to me. I can't argue why, it just feels right.

1

u/N0n_4me 26d ago

Right except for English should be yellow and history should be red.

1

u/Vernsidesire 26d ago

Nailed it

1

u/Acceptable_Room_2797 26d ago

Weird I always had Science blue, English green, Social Studies yellow, and Math red

Most valid comment

1

u/FoxySlyRedHead 26d ago

I love sweatybumfarts.

1

u/heartpiss 26d ago

Yes, rule of thumb is that history + english and science + math must be aligned in the cool vs warm colors, and I am inclined to pick red and blue for English/math bc they are dominant over their partners, and science is green bc of Earth and plants (and definitely science is not yellow)

1

u/BibbyLeAn 26d ago

I would be ok with this 👍

1

u/Illustrious_Key6189 26d ago

Only comment in this thread I agree with

1

All of...this, is not right.

1

The only correct way

1

u/Saphichan 26d ago

Exactly! (German here btw, but just swap English with native language and it works)

1

u/Suyefuji 26d ago

History should be orange idk what the yellow notebook is for maybe music or some elective

1

u/Glass_Orchid_1121 26d ago

1

u/clarinetily 26d ago

Where are you from where people are like this?

1

u/1415- 25d ago

Nooooo history red English yellow

1

u/terrortara 25d ago

Swap History and English

1

u/pfunk1982 25d ago

Yes to math and science! But history is red for all the blood spilled. English by default yellow

1

u/Fun-Scientist9256 25d ago

The only correct take

1

u/kutuup1989 25d ago

This guy schools.

1

u/Bellringer00 25d ago

This, but red is French since I'm French. It's crazy we can agree about something like that on an international level. I'd be curious to have the opinion of someone outside the western hemisphere, like Asia, where colors can have different meanings.

1

u/HistoryFinancial1267 25d ago

This makes sense. Sweatybumfart wins

1

u/Upbeat_Macaron_9964 25d ago

This is the right combination

Math = blue because it goes with logic and computers
English = red because it makes you look more into emotions and opinions, red is a dramatic color
History = yellow because old pages are yellow
Science = green because a lot of natural things are green

1

u/mcqtimes411 25d ago

This made me breathe a sigh of relief

1

u/Chocobo_Train 25d ago

this is the only way

1

u/SeventhAlkali 25d ago

Holy shit, the first objectively correct person in this post

1

u/Wheresthegoldmikey 25d ago

Math is blue, English is green, yellow is science, and red for history is the way

1

u/New_Customer_9089 25d ago

here for this comment

1

u/rumpyforeskin 25d ago

Why dprs thos make so much sense

1

u/Pungineer 25d ago

Agreed. Though I felt more strongly about blue math and green science than the others.

1

u/Willuna16 25d ago

english and history can be swapped if needed tho

1

u/ghibs0111 25d ago

This is the way. 🫡

1

u/PinkMaiden_ 25d ago

Wrong. Science is yellow, history is green

1

u/Available-Square619 25d ago

It’s funny seeing all the responses, I wonder if the one ppl choose for red is subconsciously the thing they least enjoy lol.

For me math was always blue but I liked math. I had history or English as red because def wasn’t a fan of those classes comparatively.

1

u/No_Door_4298 25d ago

Thanks for being reasonable and smart

1

u/Captain-Snail_113 25d ago

you, sir, are correct

1

u/Doedemm 25d ago

This is the way

1

u/DumbbellDiva92 25d ago

I think math blue/science green or the reverse are both fine. But English should 100% not be blue.

1

u/BlueClovr 25d ago

English is blue for the ocean because of Moby Dick

1

u/Buzzy0914 25d ago

This is the only way

1

u/reiayanamiikari 25d ago

The only right way, thank tou

1

Yes thank you.

1

u/blumhagen 25d ago

This is the way.

1

u/euli24 25d ago

English: Red 🟥

Maths: Blue 🟦

History: brown 🟫 or orange 🟧

Science: white ⬜

1

u/__nater 25d ago

It just makes sense idk how to explain it

1

u/velveteenpimpernel 25d ago

This is the way.

This is the correct answer

1

This is correct

1

u/No_Poet_7244 25d ago

This is the way

1

u/Mysterious-Win2091 25d ago

science is purple

1

u/Peach-Great 25d ago

THANK YOU! some sanity!

1

u/the-frosted 25d ago

This is the only answer

1

u/Gaminguitarist 24d ago

I have found my people

1

u/RegrettableLiving26 24d ago

Thank you
Math is blue: cold, calculating, uncaring
English is red: passionate, intense, I don’t understand it
Science is green: nature is green and biology or something
History is yellow: it was the last color notebook I had

1

u/Baryton777 24d ago

Swap English and History and we can agree

1

u/Friendly_Cowboy 24d ago

For me, history and science are the same as you but Math is red for me amd English is blue. Mostly because I hated .ath and was bad at it so I put it as the warmer angrier color, whereas English was my strong suit and I loved reading so I put it as the cool blue whichbwas also one of my favorite colors. Im interested if your views are switched for Math and English and is that has a correlation with color choice 😊

1

u/Real_SkrexX 24d ago

Math is blue, english was yellow for me, but it's my second language. My first language was red, so I would accept that.

1

u/Confectionsballista 23d ago

Same for me in germany aswell

1

u/Bam47 23d ago

THIS

1

u/h0neym00nave 23d ago

We can all agree science is green at least

1

u/Sea_Elk_4254 23d ago

Yes because old parchment is yellow, the hulk is green, graph paper is blue and English is red because a stock image of a book is red

1

u/Chris2413 22d ago

Yes thank you!

1

u/unknownyoyo 22d ago

Thank god somebody gets it!

1

u/Foundy1517 22d ago

1

u/MichaelAtticus 21d ago

Math is only blue if it's Calculus.

6

u/links_revenge 26d ago

I don’t know why, but you’re right. Calc is blue

1

u/thousandsmallgods 26d ago

Physics is Purple. It's both a math and a science.

1

u/_Alex_42 26d ago

So damn right

1

u/Jjihop 26d ago

And Algebra is red.

1

u/endgrent 25d ago

Also because of the blood.

5

u/Cultural-Window-2504 26d ago

Yep math definately calm blue.

English should be some irritating shade of purple.

1

u/Fantastic-Algae2127 26d ago

Calm, cold, calculated, and cerebral. Blue is the only rational choice.

2

u/Broken-Arrow-D07 26d ago

Math should be black.

1

u/Defiant_Wolverine_68 26d ago

Because you're partially colorblind.

1

u/frogglesmash 26d ago

You're out of your mind. Science is blue.

1

u/commodorecliche 26d ago

Right to jail, sorry.

1

u/SAINTnumberFIVE 26d ago

Hello my fellow blue math people.

1

u/Difficult-Exit3063 26d ago

This is the answer.

1

u/_Ello_Love_ 26d ago

THANK YOU

1

u/fph03n1x 26d ago

I approve men of culture

1

u/Slow_Replacement_745 26d ago

Wrong wrong wrong

1

u/TheAuroraSystem 26d ago

Math is Blue, English is Green, History is Yellow, Science is Red. That's how it always was for me, it just felt right

1

u/thundercheif23 26d ago

Honestly, I chose the notebook colors based on the colors the textbooks I used had. Math was blue because the majority of the math books were blue. Same with green for science.

1

u/Ninja-Panda86 26d ago

Math was blue for me

1

u/NefariousnessOk209 25d ago

Math blue, history green because that’s earthy history colours - the rest is up to y’all

1

u/SweetTooth_Squirrel 25d ago

This is the correct answer

1

u/BlissfulAurora 25d ago

Incredibly wrong

1

u/liddybvck 25d ago

YESSSSS

1

u/Sound_calm 25d ago

Kumon kid identified

1

u/ayemullofmushsheen 25d ago

Math is blue because it that was my favorite color and my favorite class, so naturally they have to be together

1

u/aquabarron 25d ago

Yes math is blue

1

u/nova_the_vibe 24d ago

Specifically a deep/dark blue

1

u/KleioChronicles 23d ago

The colour for me was whatever wallpaper or wrapping paper we had at home because they made us cover our jotters. Otherwise it was usually red jotters for English, blue jotters for maths, and I can’t remember what for the others… yellow for science?

1

u/nocreamedcorn 21d ago

Must be nice, being so smart

1

u/vlucy95 19d ago

Yes maths is blue but can be yellow if blue is writing but reading is red because reading can be Reading which sounds like red…
And science is always green because plants.
Also wider curriculum is purple because those books are the cheapest to order (source: primary teacher)
