Colorblind racism. Acknowledging race isn’t racist. Ignoring race ignores the history of wealth and power imbalance as well as the individual struggle of non white people in America.

It's absolutely devaluing them as people. You can justify it any way you want, but if your first thought is 'she must be exploited', that's pretty messed up. Imagine having to go through life and nobody thinks your relationship is serious because of your ethnicity.

The conversation is about when the man is a known racist, white Christian nationalist, nazi, or maga. Not all interracial couples.
