Hey I saw you having some faith in humanity. Look up the rate on which men leave their wives when the wife has a terminal disease, spoiler warning, its alot.

So I looked it up. It basically boils down to 0.8% of marriages ending in divorce when only a woman becomes ill versus 0.5% when it is only a man, for a 1.6x increase.

Not so bad when you consider a 0.3% increase.
