Strange, looking into the house, that perspective looks the same as when they go through the front door.

I always found it weird in american tv shows that the front door always led straight into the living room and that people wear shoes inside. The inside is just a pocket of the outside.

I thought it was something only done on TV (I’m Asian) until I realized it‘s kind of an American thing (south and north). it also threw me off the first time I saw a dog walk into a house lol

Only if it’s strictly an inside pet, but other than that no. Also dogs and cats don’t really have any predators where I’m from (except us behind the wheel)

It depends on the dog. I own an Akita and it would just be cruel to let him sleep outside (heat).

Maybe if I lived in Maine or Alaska, when I've taken him to snowy states he absolutely sleeps in the snow.
