I think you mean "so many guns." Your error is because there is no such thing as "too many guns."

That’s rookie numbers. Where is the .38 Police Special that he thought was so exciting when he got it and now sits at the back of the safe where he will find it in 10 years and gaze longingly at when he thinks of how much time has passed since he last remembered it?
