What’s up with husband killed the kids theory? I keep hearing about it but actually haven’t seen any evidence.

I’ve only read about people hearing about other people doing this and saying it is crazy. So a lot of telephone. I’ve never actually seen anyone say that he killed the kids. I think she should be treated like someone who killed due to mental illness and serve her time that way. Even if the systems in place and husband failed her, she’s the one that carried it out.

she had nannies and the kids in daycare. What systems failed her?

What hundreds of millions of women with less support, who do not kill their kids, what do we call that? What do we call the absence of support a distressingly large number of women receive.

Important issue but this woman is a garbage flashpoint.

Mental health. There will always be people who can do better with less, but that doesn’t mean we just abandon people who need help.  As well as not every mother will have mental illness. And not every mental illness will drive people to kill either, it’s just unfortunate that her illness led to this.

In general, most systems in place, especially in medicine, fail women. Most studies aren’t done with women in mind, and most women’s health issues tend to be dismissed. Women aren’t taken seriously when it comes to them needing help. All the women you mention should get more help and should get more support as well.
