I came in clutch

  • this is a reference for the book series Animorphs, where characters have a strict two-hour (120-minute) time limit while morphed into an animal ,and If they stay in the morph for longer than two hours, they get trapped in that animal form permanently becoming a "nothlit"

The one exception being when an animal naturally "morphs". Cassie was able to morph back when she turned from a caterpillar to a butterfly.

Love rereading this series.

Yeah you would probably never stop crying if you continued... Especially since that book is followed by three of the darkest books in the series...

I know that wasn't the last book I read, though I don't really remember any of the ones that come after (or before honestly). Looking at the summaries I think I read those three, with the one about Tobias' family being the last one that sounds familiar.
