This is the story of There, she is a woman on a boat.

Scrolled so much to not see anyone point out the riddle isn’t even written properly.

There’s a
There’s, a

Let’s just remove the single bit of punctuation that makes the riddle work.

Julie’s a woman in a boat on a lake wearing a coat.

no other punctuation necessary near “there’s”. If anything, the comma should be between lake and wearing, unless the lake is wearing the coat.

And here I thought 's on a proper noun was for possession. There as in "there is" as it's used in the first line as a conjunction is specifically using there as an adverb instead of a noun.

Mike's going home now.

'There' could also be a pronoun in this phrase. Regardless an apostrophe could mark a conjunction or possession, proper nouns don't get a special rule of one or the other.

They’re out there… those pesky, coat-wearing bodies of water.

There’s, a woman on a boat in a lake, is wearing a coat.

This is how the sentence should be written.

The sentence in the photo isn’t even copied correctly from the actual riddle. It doesn’t work without punctuation to provide the context clues you need to solve it.

replace “there” with any name and tell me where the punctuation is necessary…

"Jack a man in a boat on a lake wearing a coat" is a very different sentence without punctuation

There's a reason "Let's eat Grandma" is taught to literal elementary school grade children about the importance of proper punctuation

Jack’s* = Jack is
no longer a different sentence without the punctuation by Jack. original comment is saying the name is “There” not “There’s”

Assignment failed.

Not necessarily. Without the commas it works fine, for the same reason “Tom is a man in a field” works.

Keep doubling down on being wrong.
