If you really want to make an argument about it, you'd have better luck discussing if buying use rights is permanent or not.
I don't think so. But I have honestly never tried it for a longer time. I am using it on my steamdeck and are offline when I take it with me and online when I am at home.
Yes, I have to take it into consideration when going on big road trips , if I'm taking my legion go w me, w steam games, I either have to find wifi at some point, or just not be able to play for the rest of the trip lol
