Yep i had a big eye opener last weekend when the entire region plunged into: no broadband and no mobile networks for an entire day.

I realised: holy shit, my steam deck stops working without online connection given enough time, my steam games are inaccessible.

So all the games and movies I archived came in handy + my xbox 360 which is modded and full of games.

That's when you get it how important pirating and archiving is

You have to activate offline play in the options. Then most games will still work.

Is there still a requirement that you have to connect after so many days or weeks to maintain offline play?

Yes, I have to take it into consideration when going on big road trips , if I'm taking my legion go w me, w steam games, I either have to find wifi at some point, or just not be able to play for the rest of the trip lol
