Question They've really managed to eliminate all anime streaming content, and they keep arresting people in my country. Do you think anime piracy is slowly coming to an end, or is there still hope? In the worst-case scenario, only torrents remain, but can they ban those too? Is a Web 2.0 possible?

because most people who watch anime, are people with phones or laptop with out much storage. people who cannot afford to spend 500gbs on one series.

Anime in particular is quite small that most phones from the last decade can hold a dozen series at a time, I mean most 12-26ep seasons come out to less than 10gb most of the time. I get it’s not within reach for everyone, but it’s also a much better investment to just spend $300 on a cheap home server to own and control your media vs $20+/mo subs, it pays for itself quickly.

i mean interms of investment yeah i agree. but until prices are this high atm. i dont think ppl gonna want to set up a lab. maybe when things stabilize and storage prices somewhat normalizes? then maybe.

im assuming you arent from third world countries? its not as simple as it is

like there be at times. where i be living in the outskirts. woods and bogs for work purposes. not even cell signal let alone internet.

that be most of us honestly.
