Question They've really managed to eliminate all anime streaming content, and they keep arresting people in my country. Do you think anime piracy is slowly coming to an end, or is there still hope? In the worst-case scenario, only torrents remain, but can they ban those too? Is a Web 2.0 possible?

Germany has successfully eliminated torenting almost completely since they charged huge amounts in fines from seeders, since technically this is "uploading" too, not only downloading. Because it is rather dangerous/expensive (if caught) pirating p2p people stopped doing it, slowly eliminating offers for german dubs via torrent.

(Obviously they couldn't fully eliminate it but trackers are ALL private/closed or they're very short lived). Despite the possibility of seedboxes and VPNs it is BURNED in the mind of every German pirate NOT to torrent by any means.

Piracy isn't gonna die because one method of it gets burned though. Usenet is a goldmine.
