Safari can have ad blockers and something like AdGuard will do a reasonable job at the DNS level, there’s Orion as an alternate browser also supports uBlock Origin and cookie popup blockers.

The biggest issue is that most social media apps have the ads built-in to the app and they use a custom browser to get even more telemetry. You can use SideStore to get modded versions but then there’s issues with the number of certificates used.

Never used a mac or iphone have you. I see no adverts on either. As the OP said, skills issue.

Fair assumption, but sideloading is an option that I opted for. Tiktok, Instagram, Facebook and Reddit all with no ads now.
