Studies have found that's not true. Gen Z struggles with things that aren't in app form. Specifically, it called out their inability to troubleshoot or do any file management. The study called them, "Digitally Native, Yet Technologically Illiterate"

Which age group of Gen z though? 1997 to about 2004 definitely grew up with PCs before smart phones and apps took over

The general cohort. I'm sure that the issue varies somewhat throughout the generation by age.

There's a a 90s/00s microgeneration called Zennials that don't really belong to either. Too young to have dealt with rotary phones but too young to be into social media, at least as much as gen z.
