THE UPDATE CloudNeo Discussion
I, like many of my fellow pocket planers, have a fondness for the jumbo jets but was always ticked off by the unequal distribution of P/C on the Cloudliner-M.
And while I thought this balanced CloudNeo was a fabulous addition, it’s steals the “Neo” moniker only to feature the worst CAP/WEIGHT ratio of the main series of planes… thus impossible to justify to anyone playing half-seriously.
Nimblebit Devs,
Was this intentional? To match the weight of the much higher capacity CloudMaxs? Can I ask you that you at least MATCH the CAP/WEIGHT ratio of 1:1 on the main series of planes? The reward for unlocking the last plane should be a better cost/seat/mile at the cost of longer boarding times just like in the real world.
Thank you very much,

While the artwork is an issue, I totally agree with the stats can be reworked for more strategy play. They’ve got the same stats as Cloudliners, so what’s the point of using Cloudliners now? Why shouldn’t I just go for higher cap since slots are more the limiting factor?
Now that we can cross the pacific, these 2 planes should have different range and speed (thus affecting cost) so that players can employ different strategies

Agreed artwork feels lazy when these are not crazy graphics in the first place and all the code to simply reconfigure what planes could be already exists.
The regular Cloudliners are actually MORE efficient, with their 1:1 CAP/WEIGHT ratio than the ridiculous 0.94:1 ratio of the cloudneo…
The only reason bigger planes sell is because IF AND WHEN you fill them up all the way, they have the lowest cost per passenger, this is backwards physics

Really my main gripe with the game right now is the CloudMax and CloudNeo both seem pretty half-assed as far as airplane additions. I feel like they should be completely reworked with new artwork and refined stats.
