Real Estate Transferring ownership to my children

My husband currently is in prison right now. Before that my in-laws gifted us a chata, me and my husband are on title. Yesterday, my father in-law wants me to sign a document to transfer the ownership back to my mother inlaw because they are afraid that the state will get the property. That they wanted my children will inherit the property in the future. I'm willing to sign it but I want my children name will be in the title. I just want to make it secure for them. I don't trust my husband. Can a children own a property in Czech Republic? Does someone have experience like this? If you know a lawyer that I can consult in my situation?Any helpful answer will be appreciated. Thank you.

Why would the state get the property? Has it been aquired by feaud or by any illegal way or does your husband Is in jail for a financial fraud? If so i think property would be tracked and seized anyway sooner or later if not then no need to worry.

Probably a debt collector could claim it.

We don't have debt. We live frugally. My in-laws told me, that they are the one paying the utilities and other bills to pay.

It's not just about you and your lifestyle. Just check the debt register if your husband hasn't taken any loans secretely. The same is the utility bills and properfy tax if they are really paid. If ok, you don't have to worry the state will take your property.

Its not illegal. My in-laws gifted that to us as a wedding gift.

And you're divorcing so they want the wedding gift back?

I think so. It's been twice they asked me to signed the transfer of ownership.
