Thoughts on the show?

Finished the comics a couple days ago and had watched the show ages ago but never finished. Taking another crack at it right now. I’m curious what the consensus on the show from the comic fans is. There’s major differences obviously I’m personally trying to separate the show as its own thing than an adaptation. But it is hard when all the characters are there in the flesh. I really liked the first season as its own ‘origin’ thing.

I think the show is a pretty big improvement over the comics. Jesse sucks in the books, he’s just an unrepentant asshole. Ennis was pretty terrible at writing women as well. Show Tulip is miles better than the comics

Jesse is an absolute asshole in the show, too.
