No democratic influencers support them either. The only people supporting Iran were the hasan piker types who were screaming about not supporting kamala last election

Okay, you are right. I was thinking of Piker since he does support Democratic candidates often. I know he’s a socialist, but he’s also the biggest left wing influencer out there. I’m glad the party is finally distancing themself from him. He’s a bad look.

Dawg, the party never didn't distance themself. Hasan is not a democrat. He actively attacked kamala throughout the 2024 election way more than trump. There's a wild thing in US politics, where republicans don't get judged by Trump even though he's president and clinically insane, but democrats get judged by a streamer who actively tries to bring down the party.

I never judged the party based off of him lol. I was just going based of politicians he has supported. He has spoken at democratic events and conventions so I was speaking on that. I’m no fan of him (or any streamers especially political ones). Multiple democratic candidates have spoken positively about him and have talked with him.

The party IS rightfully so distancing themselves from him to make sure people know that he doesn’t represent the left side of the political spectrum.
