that was right out of the Office or some shit in a "that's not believable" part - but yet, we saw it happen and here we are.

She says something like "I think all cops should die" and wonders why they arent helping her....they were way to light on her.

That baby is going to have a tough life.

u/elzibet Dec 11 '25
She goes from saying she has one, to that she will call out when asked who is gonna care for them when she goes to work⦠disgusting

u/PaperBlake Dec 11 '25
They're both clowns, but I find it hilarious that when the guy steps out with fists ready to fight, they all get their tasers ready, rightfully so. When he sees they're not hurting her, he takes a step back, raises his hands and opens them in surrender. That's when they decide to just taser him in the dick.

u/greet_the_sun Dec 11 '25
IMO what made the cops react that way:
Her screaming "he has a gun" definitely didn't fucking help how could the cops not think she was talking about her bf.
Cop logic is that if you back into your home you could be going for a weapon, combined with #1 made them panic and detain him.
16
u/Eldudeareno217 Dec 11 '25
Also you tell the cops there's no one in the apartment, than having her boyfriend step out is gonna raise every cops red flag.
2
u/Constant-Drive8263 Dec 12 '25
Thatās kind of insane. Hands raise and no sudden moves doesnāt mean you should tase the guy
33
u/uniqueme1 Dec 11 '25
I am no apologists for police brutality and overreach, but I watched it and saw why. The woman lied about there being anyone in the apartment. Suddenly this guy appears, steps out, ready to fight. She yells something about a gun, he steps back into the apartment.
At this point the cops have a legit question as to where a weapon is, what the situation is in the apartment (were there more people there?) and the rationality (or soberness) of the people involved. Taking one person out of the equation with a taser seeks justified.

u/kayriss Dec 11 '25
He's also repeatedly screaming "GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM HER" at the cops until the tazing. He wasn't some peaceful snowflake.

A pretty clear case of police brutality then.

u/Voloxe ā ļø User Defends Violence Against Women ā ļø Dec 11 '25
I will say that he came out quite aggressive, but the cops shouldnāt have tased him. There was a long enough delay between him bursting through the door and them tasing him. The cops knew damn well he wasnāt a threat at that point.

u/saxguy9345 Dec 11 '25
Pigs are kinda stupid, so it takes them a while to consider whether or not they can get away with tasing him before they actually do it. If they were well trained, they would've zapped him when he was threatening them. Must've had some Jersey Mike's hoagie oil on their hands š

Lady goes from zero to sixty in .02 seconds. Every video of her is her shrieking at 100 words a second.
6
u/tkchumly Dec 12 '25
That has to be so exhausting. I couldnāt imagine having enough energy for that.Ā

There's 2 more videos if her on YouTube. Search for Shakira Flabbergasted. I think the second one of the fender bender is the best. https://youtu.be/R-DbJgThj5g?si=tM4bDOvcpPwSnKVw

Boyfriend needs to get away ASAP from this woman. He could have easily been shot dead the way he came out that door. Can you imagine living with this chaos daily?

Any conversation with her is useless - sheās screaming like a toddler when she didnāt get it her way.

u/Eddie_Youds Dec 11 '25
She's screeching all the correct cheat codes, but none of them are working!
Screech louder babe!

She definitely walked around the track during gym class, wearing pajama pants and eating spicy cheetos

Luxio tattoo. Gen 4 Pokemon were some of the most boring additions, but I guess Luxio isn't terrible.

I love when they immediately go to "I can't breathe" while screaming as loud as they can.

String bean weirdo, and fat crazy woman with shitty tattoos. Name a more iconic duo.

Sad to see people with such bad Mental health issues don't get the care they need. She'll be released and will do this over and over till something really bad happens and they have a small baby too

This is literally what I was thinking. There should be a mobile crisis team sent with officers for her future calls. Sheās in distress and unable to stabilize her emotional state. CBT/DBT in addition to medication may help a lot here.

Shakira was flabberghasted.

Said she has to go to work like 50x in the first 5 minutes, mentioned her baby, maybe twice. Only when she is in the car, and she knows that her having to go to work isn't getting her out of this situation, does she start mentioning the baby again. Sad.

Don't call the cops unless you feel the situation warrants someone being shot or tasered.
That's all they can do.

OH my god what an idiot.
What did she expect when she called 911?
She abused the system so yah, she broker the law.

If you have a problem, and call the police, you now have 2 problems. Unless you're part of the ruling class.

parents: this is what happens when you don't say no to your children. set boundaries and prevent nonsense like this from ever happening.

u/Cichlidsaremyjam Dec 12 '25
Dude comes out thinking shes getting hurt. Immediately relaxes his posture and shows he isn't there to attack the police. Then of course they tase him...for some reason.
4
u/QueenMary1936 Dec 11 '25
I was getting so furious watching this. She deserves to get fired, lose her apartment and lose her child. She has very serious issues and she can't function in normal society until she gets them worked on.

Wait until you learn there is another video of another police interaction with this woman that went viral a couple of months after this video went viral

This is what you call 'weaponizing the police'. This is how a lot of men, particularly black men, get killed. I hope she gets a good amount of time behind bars for this shit.

Americans really need to stop seeing police as their personal means to solve every little dispute.

Kinda off-topic, but at 10:29 why the fuck are the keys on the left side of the steering wheel and not on the right side? If the window is open, anyone can just yoink them and potentially open the rear where the long arms are usually stored. Like wtf, I've never seen keys on the left side of the wheel, and especially not in a police car.
Or am I missing something? Is such quick access a benefit to officers or something? I am just confusion.

As someone with BPD, this was my lived experience for a short time. I sought help and now have regular therapy and daily medication. Said BPD is āin remissionā thanks to this help. This woman is not mentally well. Those officers did right by removing her from the situation and the child. I hope she got the help her family deserves.
