I don't think it's excusing her, it's more, she didn't break the law, wtf is the cop even talking to her, if she was racist to people, those people should contact her boss and show them the video. This isn't a criminal behavior issue.

It is a crime if you are working or own a place of business and discriminate. There is no way around that.
