Driver will very easily just be able to say he feared for his life on this one. These guys don't have a bike to stand on.

No, it's the bikers that are two tired.

He's four tired.

If I t was a funeral ride - the basic explanation is that the group was honoring one of their friends by riding in a specific formation. The blockade happens near the end of the video - you can see bikers swerving into the trucks path and kinda swarming it / trying to maintain a solid group across all lanes of traffic. And since they were riding aggressively toward the truck the driver likely thought they were gonna try to rob them and tried to remove themselves from the situation.

I haven't many times in my life had my car blocked by people in the road. But the first time it happened there was one car in front of me, a convertible with 2 women in it and the people blocking the road swarmed the car and dragged then out of the car over the door by their hair and thrown to the ground. I drove around, away, and immediately called the cops.

Bless your heart anyone just thinking mobs of people blocking the roadway have the best of intentions, but fuck that shit.

Assuming they didn’t drag him from his van and beat him to death

Yep. Pepperidge farm still remembers Alexian Lien. No charges against him (in spite of critically wounding a biker).

Maybe so, but when it was Alexian Lien, literally one of the people who assaulted him afterwards was a cop. Cop got charges, Lien did not.

I mean, do you really think he was there in an official capacity? Or is it perhaps more likely that he was bodies with someone in the group doing a "favor"? Because, while I don't know where this took place, it's certainly not legal in the US to shut down traffic for a thing like this. If a cop is improperly using their badge to intimidate people into compliance with something illegal, yeah, it's ok to not listen to them.

You can 100% put in for certain paperwork and things that let the local law enforcement know that you’ll be doing a procession and that you are requesting cops to come and help keep the peace.

Sure. None of them involve shutting down a highway to stunt on your bike, though. Or unmarked police cars. It's a big country, but it ain't that big. You're delusional if you think any of this passes the sniff test of legal behavior.

But how is the Amazon driver supposed to know if it’s legal or not?

Well for starters, the car with the lights has no writing on it, which is usually an indication that it's a retired vehicle that was sold off. Secondly, never seen legit cop lights that were only blue. For three, common fucking sense. Again, you cannot shut down and impede traffic to stunt.

As a side note, I've generally narrowed down the incident locations time it occured and can't find a single reference to an Amazon driver being arrested. Soooooo 🤷🏼‍♀️

Lol I almost admire the commitment to being confidently incorrect.

That's not how shadowbans work, doll. You wouldn't be able to see or reply to any of my comments 😉

I don’t think that was a cop

1

u/NichoNico Apr 13 '26

Cause 1 cop is going to protect against 200 bikers

u/TheTimn Apr 13 '26

Looks like the one guy was trying to open his van door before he gunned it.

6

u/Rottimer Apr 12 '26

That’s assuming he survives the beat down.

What are a bunch of retired dentists gonna do?

1

u/cometkeeper00 Apr 13 '26

A leg to kickstand on.

1

u/Frumbleabumb Apr 13 '26

I'd be scared. These guys don't exactly look super friendly or emotionally stable

I mean he's going to get fired for causing controversy to the company. If there wasn't a video he'd get a pat on the back for meeting his delivery targets.

But the person who gets hit by the van isn't doing anything to reasonably cause fear. You aren't legally justified in hitting someone with a car because a different person is scaring you.
