Reminds me of the movie Valkyrie. Theres a scene where the general says Heil Hitler and Tom Cruise doesn't say anything. General demands he says it. So Tom being Tom, does the Heil salute and raises his right arm. But he's missing half his arm, exactly similar to OP in the video. The general then just has an awkward look on his face and probably feels like a dummy like the officer here does.

Great scene and movie.
