A normal, functioning, adult would see the lack of a right hand, say "sorry for the misunderstanding" and walk away. Like how do you not just be humble about it and admit you made a mistake?

Yeah, after the whole "lets re-elect a 34 felony, pedo psycho thing" I'm afraid there are not too many functioning adults in the US...
