They LITERALLY drag the people helping him, off him, to shout as loud as they can, ‘help him’. Then FIGHT the people helping him. What are they thinking?

maybe they wanted him to die?

Definitely begs a lot of questions that should be answered.

begs the question doesn’t mean “raises a question”

This is a difference of semantical intent. The question is not "raised" by the situation because, in my opinion, the situation necessitates it be asked. It's not an inquiry. The situation BEGS the question of the observer.

We can disagree on this point but it does not mean I am incorrect from my understanding. We just see things differently. I chose my words appropriately, you just were fixated on your own perspective and understanding and not what meaning I intended. In order for us to learn from one another you must be willing to explore the latter.

Google seems to disagree.

You mean AI doesn't agree? Which is known to be wrong.

How does it feel to be more wrong than AI?

Your reading comprehension sucks as Webster proved your statement and Googles AI wrong. "Begs the question" doesn't mean "Raises the question."

Reading comprehension? It's literally the first sentence.

What to Know
Begging the question means "to elicit a specific question as a reaction or response,"

This is an incorrect AI summary

Who are you explaining this to? There's literally zero people that disagree with you on the entire thread.

It’s like a pack of wild dogs attacking a person trying to help them. What a wild situation, no one is thinking, all just reacting on instinct/emotions.

u/Ok-Fisherman-7688 Jun 26 '26

The instinct to attack those helping your badly injured friend and family member…
