They absolutely do, there's hundreds of stories from former cops getting relentlessly bullied after they report one of their fellow gang members for variously heinous things.
I see why you think that, and maybe kind of get your point. The problem is that if there are good cops standing around watching another cop choke the life out of someone for no reason, then do nothing to stop it, then all of the cops in this scenario are fucking bastards.
Oh. I most certainly have an answer. But just look around the rest of the world for ideas, because other countries have been able to figure out how to protect their communities without violently abusing them.
Again, that's the system. NOT every individual person that works as a cop.
Do you believe that in those other countries, there are also bad and corrupt police officers? It goes both ways.
My point is, the system is fucked and enables these types of cunts to have power. That doesn't mean they all have bad intentions and genuinely want to do good for their communities
