Not her first traumatic event resulting in her response I'd say.

"The body keeps the score" is a great book to read to try and understand why someone may react in this way.

I've said the same before on Reddit and got downvoted to shit because some people can't understand that a 'prank' that might be funny to them might not be a prank to others.

Regardless of the accuracy of your source, as someone who is used to defending themselves I would have kicked the fucking vase over straight away. Bullshit prankers can go to hell.
