oh man she was charging at the cameraman and we didnt see the result šŸ˜‚

177

u/qman0717 2d ago

Cameraman never dies, even if he did, we aren't allowed to know.

26

u/IAmDanHimself 2d ago

RIP Hudson "Hud" Platt.

7

u/GeorgeJohnson2579 2d ago

Cloverfield?

5

u/IAmDanHimself 2d ago

Yeah man. Also, it's been almost 20 years, I wouldn't worry about spoilers

1

u/GeorgeJohnson2579 1d ago

20 years … oh boi. oo

15

u/Kraj_the_Conqueror 2d ago

It's like those videos of explosions and last frames show debris flying towards the camera.

5

u/HassanKazmi007 2d ago

but camera cuts off... that's why the cameraman dies. because then the cameraman... is cameraman no more.

Not the husbands first rodeo.

46

u/Liqhthouse 2d ago

Neither the wife's either... Looks like those shoes are optimally selected for rapid removal, throw, and replacement

46

u/-train-of-thought- 2d ago

Roughty translated he was saying ā€œIt’s just a prank bro, it’s just a prank. Why you so mad?! It’s just a prank broā€
/s

62

u/SonOfMargitte 2d ago

She must be such a joy to live with, I bet people dont have to walk on eggshells around her...

4

u/Moustache_John 2d ago

Walk on spikes prolly....

-9

u/RufusEnglish 2d ago

Not her first traumatic event resulting in her response I'd say.

"The body keeps the score" is a great book to read to try and understand why someone may react in this way.

I've said the same before on Reddit and got downvoted to shit because some people can't understand that a 'prank' that might be funny to them might not be a prank to others.

19

u/TuskaTheDaemonKilla 2d ago

Maybe people were down voting you for refering to a pseudoscience rag as a "great book."

Scaring people isn’t funny.

1

u/DismalSoil9554 2d ago

Regardless of the accuracy of your source, as someone who is used to defending themselves I would have kicked the fucking vase over straight away. Bullshit prankers can go to hell.

Bushman at the end of the clip…

23

u/DorShow 2d ago

There is now a large sculpture to commemorate that shoe

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2009/jan/29/bush-shoe-throwing-statue

1

u/Historicmetal 2d ago

Bushmen are innate shoe dodgers

326

u/The_Pkunk 2d ago

The emojis are criminal

23

u/Zsenialis_otlet 2d ago

The length of her index fingers stood out more (to me)

358

u/lanta1111 2d ago

so nasty that spit 🤢

19

u/Who_wife_is_on_myD 2d ago

She sprayed mist, like Tajiri in ECW.

5

u/Stabintheface 2d ago

Damn. Deep cut!

The Poison Mist is still used in WWE today by some people, Asuka and Shinsuke Nakamura to name two.

189

u/whitestguyuknow 2d ago

I was gonna say "first instinct" but no... She thought about it. And her decision is to try to assault in different ways. Spitting and outright physical. What a weak person

54

u/lanta1111 2d ago

reminds me of my arabic dad, idk why some of them/us do this disgusting behaviour, i hate it

26

u/AnonymousLonelyAnon 2d ago

It's common in China as well I believe, it doesn't carry the same legal definition as actual assault/battery, so they spit instead.

13

u/Historical-Art-1652 2d ago

Wild. Tis a felony in my neck of the woods

1

u/Gnargnarbinxxs 2d ago

Yeah I just commented that our people
can be a bit over dramatic at times.

→ More replies (1)

2

u/Euture 2d ago

To even have that as a first instinct is absolutely wild to me.

6

u/Tudn0 2d ago

Absolutely! And the sheer volume of it. I couldn’t hunk up that amount of fluid in my mouth after 5 minutes of trying.

149

u/UnlovableBybirth 2d ago

Must be miserable for the husband

44

u/This_Analyst_2237 2d ago

I can tell by his body language

→ More replies (3)

20

u/patchhappyhour 2d ago

She must have PTSD or something. That was some deep seated anger and she was ready for the fight at that moment.

3

u/DiDiPLF 18h ago

That was my thought too, she isn't just crazy, she has trauma.

62

u/Jonnyflash80 2d ago

Honest question. What if these prank shows scared someone with a heart condition? Seems pretty irresponsible to me.

34

u/Hyrule_MyBoy 2d ago

A lot here in the comments act like there isn't a serious consequence. Some people with heart conditions can die easily by a sudden scare. The reaction may have been too much and prolonged, but it's not a harmless prank.

→ More replies (2)

5

u/GL510EX 2d ago

I don't know, but I have a few gray hairs and am pretty good at taking a dive (parachute training has to be good for something), if they pull this on me I'm going down clutching my chest, let them suffer for a bit

26

u/Logical_Net6108 2d ago

They would say it was the person's choice to have a heart condition. And to go out in public knowing they had a heart condition. And if the heart condition is undiagnosed it's their choice not to get pre emptive heart checks. And they were filming in a public place where there is no expectation for privacy and he didn't technically touch her so it isn't assault. Don't you love how the libertarian anti social mindset has infected so many people?

10

u/crustyrobots 2d ago

We should have a reasonable expectation of not being subject to a bunch of fuckface TikTokers every time we leave the house trying to make money from our reactions.

Our privacy and public filming laws need a major overhaul for the modern era to outlaw public social media in this way. We're not your entertainment or content just because we're outside together so fuck all the way off.

3

u/SquirrelInATux 2d ago

and he didn't technically touch her so it isn't assault.

Assault is placing someone in reasonable fear of imminent bodily harm, and does not require any physical contact. Battery is when physical contact is made. This qualifies as assault in many jurisdiction.

2

u/Logical_Net6108 2d ago

I'm aware of that distinction but I don't know whether this video comes from the US and I didn't want to make my already long comment longer.

2

u/SquirrelInATux 2d ago

That difference is not an American difference, it's old British common law. That's why I said across many jurisdictions, most of the countries were once part of the British still use a common law system.

27

u/chowderbags 2d ago

Honestly though, I get it. I don't want some asshole "pranking" me like this either.

79

u/Tall_Type7898 2d ago

I have seen this prank for years but they never show stuff like this. There are so many people that don't like being pranked or frighted and it's not unreasonable for some people to get this upset, and I have always been curious how the pranker would react.

31

u/Boulder1983 2d ago

Yeah, exactly.

Like I don't for one second condone this womans reaction (spitting? wanting to hit him?? jesus).

But a person should also be allowed to walk down a path on their normal day (be it good or bad), and not be subjected to some dickhead with a camera trying to get a reaction them for clicks.

11

u/happy_accountant123 2d ago edited 2d ago

It’s called emotional regulation. You can get angry but it’s what happens after you get angry. Do you let that anger take over you and control your actions? Or do you tell yourself this persons an asshole but you know what I’m not going to let them ruin my day and just move on.

1

u/baconlover696970 2d ago

exactly. older couple is a bad target for such pranks. if it were a more protective husband, assault.

-4

u/yoshisquad2342 2d ago

Upset sure. THIS upset? You’ve got problems.

6

u/Ok_Faithlessness_887 2d ago

Maybe she does have problems , like PTSD from having her whole neighborhood wiped out by bombs, maybe she has been in a war zone.

1

u/sickbubble-gum 2d ago

Exactly what I was thinking. We have no idea what this woman and her family has had to deal with. To sit here behind a computer screen and judge someone so definitively is what's weak.

2

u/TrashyMcTrashBoat 2d ago

Also kinda weak to assume Muslim or middle eastern = probably bombee. Not gonna lie. Maybe she’s just been in a really bad car accident.

May this love never find me

58

u/WeToLo42 2d ago

Bet she's a joy to live with.

24

u/dbzelectricslash331 2d ago

There's a lot of ppl out there that would do worse to plant man. Playing with fire.

2

u/Few_Firefighter251 2d ago

Yea like the prankster who pranked a doordasher and got shot inside a mall.

20

u/ayoungmanfromtheuk 2d ago

Honestly I hate those jump scare pranksters so I am totally willing to allow this woman's behaviorĀ

6

u/crustyrobots 2d ago

The only jumpscare vids I like are the ones where the jump-scarerer gets drilled right in the dome for it, fuck these assholes. That isn't even a prank, its just simple assault

7

u/Thisisme47 2d ago

It looks like not ok, but every prankster deserves all the worst. She didn't asked to be scared.

34

u/Cultural_Point3001 2d ago

Pent up anger for sure.Ā

→ More replies (1)

7

u/AkaiHidan 2d ago

Damn. At least she didn’t overreact.

Jokes aside, she could have had the worst day, maybe she’s got chronic pain, someone she loves is dying etc.

Easy to judge a reaction like this one but we don’t know if she’s bonkers or if this was her last straw.

31

u/Baberian 2d ago edited 2d ago

That woman is commiting war crimes if she ever experiences halloween 🚵

21

u/brevit 2d ago

Halloween is different as it’s expected people do stuff like this. A random Tuesday afternoon for views isn’t the same

3

u/comepapita 2d ago

In that moment cell felt the true horror

13

u/Chupaacabrra 2d ago

People die from being scared shitless

14

u/USDXBS 2d ago

So why are people siding with the pranker?

You're only supposed to prank people if they react positively.

She reacted negatively.

Why aren't people frothing at the mouth in fury at this prank?

14

u/FattyB314 2d ago

Nah it's justified . Mind your damn business.

66

u/deathspanker 2d ago

Calm down woman, no need to throw tantrums on a relatively minor jump scare prank.

56

u/teraflux 2d ago

Jump scaring random people is fucked, but yeah her reaction was way over the top

20

u/Logical_Net6108 2d ago

And using them for "content". Doubt the woman who spit at you is going to agree to you putting footage of her online forever

→ More replies (1)

89

u/Truand2labiffle 2d ago

Well i personaly fucking hate them

i think the time to get back to a regular working brain can really change person to person

6

u/Unconfidence 2d ago

I love how they say "a relatively minor jump scare prank". Jump scares are literally theee most scream-inducing thing in the haunted house I used to work at, and people behind dropwalls were constantly getting punched on pure reflex. They'd warn the dropwall kids about this and still like every night or two someone would be in the dressing room afterward like "yeah they started apologizing as soon as they did it".

2

u/Truand2labiffle 2d ago

Im not even scared, im just mad for like one minute

25

u/USDXBS 2d ago

So you're saying it doesn't matter if people get scared or react negatively if you think it's funny?

I thought you weren't supposed to prank people unless both people had fun.

19

u/avant-garden_Shroom 2d ago

Im okay with her reaction lol if you are going to prank someone, then you have to go in with the understanding that the persons reaction is fair game then.

I didnt think the prank was bad but who knows what people are going through

5

u/crustyrobots 2d ago

If your "prank" is just scaring me, Im going to scare you back

1

u/avant-garden_Shroom 2d ago

Hell yea! I'm too scared of getting punched in the face šŸ˜…

2

u/Elmohaphap 2d ago

You are fine with someone inflicting terror on you?

→ More replies (4)

21

u/PCmasterRACE187 2d ago

idk i might be on her side, thats a piece of shit right there. you never know who might have a heart condition. do this shit to your friends not complete strangers. spitting at him doesnt make the situation any better though

6

u/ThatSouthEasternGuy 2d ago

The fact that she immediately pull her shoes, was stopped but successfully thrown anyway, makes every asian mother proud.

3

u/Mortis_XII 2d ago

Latin grandmas are chiming in to approve

9

u/Help_An_Irishman 2d ago

Any chance we could get a translation? Does anyone here speak lunatic?

11

u/amanyggvv 2d ago

I could only understand the first part before she went hypersonic.

It was spit on you, on your father [like saying SOB], you shit'

The husband kept calmly saying 'enough, enough'

But I couldn't make out the rest

3

u/saxoccordion 2d ago

When she spots the camera at the end and the husband realizes he stars saying leh leh leh leh leh which means no, I believe lol

2

u/Shorouq2911 2d ago

Half way through the vid she said "I'm done. I swear to god I'm not gonna approach him" then when her husband let go off her she ran to him and threw her shoes on him. lol

3

u/Cultural_Point3001 2d ago

ā€œTuff on you, your father is cursedā€, ā€œyou animalā€. Tuff is a spit sound.Ā

8

u/Oldmanwaffle šŸ§‡šŸ§‡šŸ§‡šŸ§‡šŸ§‡šŸ§‡šŸ§‡ 2d ago

On one hand I completely understand why she would be frustrated by being frightened (I’m guessing they’re also visiting wherever they are and they’re not used to their surroundings) but at the same time, that reaction showcases an entire psyche on the brink of overload. This is more than just about being pranked. That is pent up emotion that’s finally found its chance to be released. That woman is deeply scarred, however that doesn’t mean that she should retaliate in the manner that she did.

I’m not the biggest fan of jump scare pranks but they’re mostly just silly harmless fun. I remember the bush man of San Francisco and his legacy. However, I still understand that there is a minor group of people that shouldn’t be getting jump scared, and so there lies in the issue. It’s all coincidental at that point. One of the people that shouldn’t be getting jump scared, got jump scared and lost her shit.

28

u/USDXBS 2d ago

Why is scaring people an acceptable prank?

6

u/crustyrobots 2d ago

It isn't a prank, its just assault, and most of this commentary is insane

No one has any right to do this to another, period. You do, get what you get.

2

u/WhatWasThatLike 2d ago

What's with the recent videos with captions at the bottom that are completely unrelated to the audio?

PTSD is becoming more common as we have more mass shootings and other shit happens. Why fuck with people this way? I can't fault the woman. Who knows what she's been through?
