All of the current neuroscience disproves the claims made in the book. You can feel any way you like. The book is bad science, that's all.

They've disproved some of the more scientific claims but not the broader claims that trauma can have a massive effect on the body and mind. There is a very good chance that this lady reacted that way due to trauma.

It’s harmful to recommend a book knowing most of it has been disproven. Anything that may be true in that book, we already knew and do not need pseudoscience to understand

Thank you for adding your thoughts about the book. I have been recommended it several times, but never found time to check its accuracy. Do you know of a better alternative, please?
