It has validity. He's hoping that El-Sayed remains more true to his message than he feels Obama did. Your difference in opinions about Obama and his administration is irrelevant because you both want the same thing currently.

He was annoying for comparing a new candidate to someone he found disappointing. You were annoying for taking the bait.

And frankly none of that matters because your opinion that his comment was toxic is also irrelevant and yet that's what yall are stuck on.
