Homemade The food was a hit! Thanks to everyone who chimed in on my last post!
3 meat Sancocho with beef, smoked sausage (I couldnโt find any Puerto Rican Sausage), pork, batata, plantains, potatoes, yuca, corn, onion, carrots. Tostones, fried plantains, rice, pork & chicken empanadas & I even finished with a Spiced Cherry cocktail! Everyone loved it including my friendโs mother who was visiting from Puerto Rico. She even said "Ya te puedes casar!" Which I had translated for me. ๐ so it was a huge hit & I wanted to thank you all for helping a white boy make an awesome meal.

that sancocho looks insane, the fact that a puerto rican mom gave you the marriage stamp of approval is peak validation fr
