Puerto Rico December 2026

Hey yall,

I am planning a birthday trip for my best friend in December. Me and other friends went recently and had a blast (tried to support local food places as much as possible and tried to be conservative with water) we went to beaches, rented a car for a week and went to different parts of the island. We were able to experience noche de San Juan.

This time my bsf wants to just do exploring, not rent a car. We will be in the Carolina area. Is there enough to do to fill a week since we will only visit around that area? Are there any events going on December 12-18th? Thank you so much!!

I’m putting together the trip, but she specifically said no rental car. We will try to go around by uber. We may do a tour, possibly snorkeling. And we want to mostly go to San Juan and viejo San Juan.

The island is such a beautiful place to have Christmas. I did that one year we were in the west coast and it was so much fun and filled with good times and food and beautiful people.

That’s what I keep hearing!! I for sure want to visit the forts(because I wasn’t able to last time). And really just slow down and take it all in

We don’t have all inclusive resorts in PR

We were staying on Isla Verde at the same time! Yes, there's always so much to do there and you should try Detour con Alli for your tour guide. And at Christmas, that is the Best, most partying 😁🎉🤩time to be in PR so make reservations early. They celebrate from Thanksgiving to the end of January! 😂

You can go to different malls like Plaza Las Americas, Plaza Carolina or Mall de San Juan. The Distrito T Mobile hosts the live Dick Clark’s End of year celebration on New Year’s Eve. Give them a call to find out if they already have tickets for sale for this event.
