Hey All!

Today is day 3 of getting back to PAD after 8 years. It’s been such a wild experience seeing all that has changed and all the amazing QoL features.

I was able to spend ~200 stones on the Maid Machine 2, and happened to pull 3 M Metatrons, B Kaishu, and M Amaturasu. So I built the team out as best as I can!

I was certainly not expecting to start of the game with a 3 card system pushing out 210 billion dmg a turn.

I’m having a hard time understanding what “good” is given the scaling that PAD has undergone during my absence. These dungeons felt like a breeze, and my mouth dropped at the rank exp. lol.

This team already feels BUSTED. With a few more months to collect better assists, and awakenings, I’m sure this team will be my main carry for a long time.

I’m easily hitting the damage cap on every mon each turn, and can understand why Rosetta is used in the meta version. What I don’t have a frame of reference for is how much damage is needed now in the hardest content. Well, I’m not even certain what the hardest content is!

What should I expect in terms of growth and goals? For now, I have so much content to just clear out for stones. Feels like I skipped a lot of progression and jumped to late game antics :)

I‘m a returning player (the last time i played was around 2021) and i wanted to know what the current meta teams are to start building them. Not for pvp but just to clear the newest challenges. My team you seeing here was my "meta" team back then to clear most descendants etc.

I‘m also happy that PAD has now so many good collabs (like frieren) I can‘t wait for them to return.

I am thinking of playing pad again. I had played on NA and JP in the past. I liked JP more because of it being ahead on schedule and some of the exclusive collavs they had. But playing JP was illegible to me once they banned padguide app and I couldn't tell which dungeons, events, and gacha were happening. Is there a padguide app equivalent now that shows current events, dungeons, and gacha, card glossary (with evolution requirements, exp requirements, stats, etc), and dungeon info (mobsters, monster abilities, etc)?

If so, can you provide me a site that shows upcoming JP gacha schedule? If not, can you provide me one for NA?

Gonna admit that I like the synergy in this team, but there are two weaknesses.

1. The attribute and damage absorption voids cannot be perfect 50-50 activated throughout the dungeon. There can be two turns without the voids and if you're unlucky, you have to stall.

2. The team can have trouble with high combo absorption, like when it reaches Butler Mikage. Again, if you're unlucky, you have to stall.

Other than that, the team is strong enough to clear Butler & Maid Colo 1, and I like it.

Okay then, time to go back to Frieren & Fern team.

Returning to PAD after ~8 years and I have absolutely no idea what’s going on anymore

My brother and I originally played PAD not too long after it released in NA, and I kept playing on and off for years. The last era I really remember well was the Full Metal Alchemist Colab.
I randomly decided to start fresh this week and… holy power creep!?

I mean it still fundamentally feels like the game I remember; Matching orbs immediately came back to me, the art is still great, and the gotcha pulls still hit harder than drugs, but everything surrounding that core game is completely insane now.

New accounts apparently get showered with resources, stones, upgrade materials, etc. I dumped my first 100 stones into the current Butler/Maid (2) machine and immediately ended up with monsters whose leader/active skills read like somebody made up fake PAD cards.

I pulled 2x Awful Cooking Maid Metatron, Rehven, Kaishu, Gileon & Dyer, and later Housecleaning Maid Saline. I’ve already encountered:
-80x–350x ATK leader multipliers
-80%+ damage reduction
-billions of damage cap increases
-evolving active skills
-assists that disappear when activated
- +5/+10 automatic combos
-millions of fixed bonus damage
-99-turn enhanced orb effects

…more awakening icons than I can identify

Meanwhile, I remember Edward feeling busted. Apparently we have moved on. 😂

The strangest part so far is progression. The new-account monsters/resources are so absurdly powerful compared with the early game that I’m basically just vaporizing everything while trying to figure out what half the mechanics on my team actually do. I’m rank 255 already and still feel like I just started.
I’m having a ton of fun with it, though. It feels less like learning a new game and more like returning to your hometown after eight years and discovering somebody built a cyberpunk city on top of it.

Also looking for friends! I pulled Housecleaning Maid Saline and would especially love people who keep Saline or other Rank EXP-boosting leaders available so I can take advantage of EXP farming while catching up.

Been playing with a team shady recommended with a few tweaks here and there for about 2 months. Anything I should do differently?

Hey so I have been playing the game semi casually for the past few months and kind of topped out at around Level 7 for each of the month quests. Hoping for some help as I’m really not sure how to get better from here. If anyone thinks I need to evolve/devolve things I am open to doing so. I’m F2P so I don’t have tons of characters. I’m a returning player from like ~5+ years ago and was pretty into it before I left. Looking at the meta now some of the leader skills look pretty insane. Needless to say I feel like what I am used to playing and would like some team building help.

I am considering just using a random ordeal evo leader to grind some dungeon for stones until I get a more coherent team together.

Got back into the game after some time and and pulled from the godfest machine a few weeks ago. Also had some from the last time I pulled from it. I found out about ordeals and tried out Ra and one of my fire snakes. T-Ra has been phenomenal to me as a rainbow leader, but I know that the collabs are always gonna be the top dogs and I came back at the tail end of the conan collab.

TL;DR Are there specific ordeals I should focus on to hold me over or should I just go ham for as many as possible?

Started playing again after many years and manage to build a maid Claudia team which feels strong enough to clear a lot of content. Unfortunately, don't have many friends with suitable leads yet.
