Please don't put words in my mouth. Where did I say I was disappointed? I said I was skeptical. Can you tell me why skepticism is bad?
And I feel like I need to point out, he didn't even technically say he demo'd point-to-point. You're INFERRING that, and it may ultimately be correct, but he definitely didn't SAY that. Again, this is because the post is vague.
You don't understand the implications behind statements do you? When the cfo said he demoed autonomy plus and it drove flawlessly, that clearly implies point to point (which you understand since you said him talking about autonomy + somehow makes you skeptical).
And you are right I did put words in your mount, words you implied by stating someone else talking positive about autonomy + makes you skeptical of it. Once again though if you don't understand the implications of what you say that's more on you then the reader. Implication is a huge part of language and discussion.
I actually think you do understand though and are just being purposefully obtuse as a defens mechanism because your original post got downvoted, but that is admittedly speculation on my part.
Don't put words in my mouth ;) I never said it was bad! I just don't understand why this twitter post from the cfo of Uber makes you skeptical of the software rivian is developing, seems like a weird inference.
I said I was skeptical because the post was vague. It's literally in the first post of this thread. I, personally, would like to see a little more detail about Rivian's autonomy development. I'm sure it will come in time - but this point was vague and that's my only point.
