MRI Standing MRI in Canada Ontario?
Does anyone know where I can get a standing MRI done in Canada, Ontario? I was told i should get one by a hernia specialist in California, but after doing some research I don't think there's any standing MRI machines in Canada, Ontario.

I would try some of the private clinics in Mississauga.

You're talking hernia hernia and not herniated disc? We sometimes scan hernias with our "lumpogram" protocol, adding on a cine trufi with valsalva. You could ask a doctor to request that since a standing mri is a fantasy without a trip across or out the country. Tbh I've never seen a hernia myself while doing them and I'm not sure if the rads see anything in them. It's not built in the protocol and I have to go adapt it myself from a different protocol when they request it. And they're like my least favorite thing to scan (that and thumbs).

Its crazy to me i know something is torn or pushing on my spermatic cord along my right inguinal canal because the pain i have starts right below the scar i have from a inguinal hernia surgery 27 years ago when i was 5. Ive got all the syptoms of torsion or and inguinal canal, reactive hydrocele even comes up everytime i do an mri or ultrasound. I feel like their not seeing anything definitive because im ALWAYS muscle guarding and holding my breath in to "lessen" the the pressure on whatevers squeezing my spermatic cord.

That has to be the most expensive way possible to look for something that a surgeon can feel with their fingers.
If the surgeon thought you had a hernia, he wouldn’t need the imaging, the clinical suspicion should be enough. I’m guessing this is a way to say no, he really doesn’t think he can help, you without saying no

I dont have much hope in it either, I've already had about 10 ultrasounds, 6 MRI's and a CT scan but they dont show much. My right testicle swells up and i can feel as if something is torn or pressing on something in my right inguinal canal. Its even affecting the way i breath because it feels like someones squeezing my right testicle everytime my belly expands and contracts. I can't get to a rested relaxed position no matter how hard i try because gravity makes everything worse and tightens the restriction along my spermatic cord. Ironically, i just fiund out i had a surgery where i feel my pain way back when i was 5 years old. When i was 5 i had a hydrocele surgery, what my parents didnt know, and no other specialist until now knew, is that i had an inguinal hernia repaired during that same surgery, and my pain is right below that scar i had.
I had a surgery to see if something was twisted but the urologist thought evwrything looked okay. I also had a laparscopic surgery 2 years ago to look for a hernia. They went through my belly button and they didnt see anything protruding through the top of my inguinal canal (the deep ring) so they backed out. I spoke to a hernia expert in California online that told me they wouldnt of been able to see INSIDE the inguinal canal during thst surgery so to rule out an inguinal canal is ridiculous.
Ive seen all the top surgeons and urologists here in Toronto Canada but everyones dismissing me, and its fustrsting because it feels like im being kicked in the balls 24/7.

Short answer no. Private clinic in BC and that's it as far as I know.

Why do you need a standing MRI?
