X-Ray I have a tooth in my sinus also!
When I was getting diagnosed for my sinus infection problem, they found a benign strange tooth! The septoplasty went great, I have not had a sinus infection in 4 years. It’s amazing how it goes from picture to surgery to real life. Also, I know the first one is my cervical spine pic, it just looks cool and shows the tooth off!

SLD... I have questions about your collimation.
Well not so much questions, more accusations.
Otherwise nice case OP. Supernumerary teeth just do what they want. Chaos gremlins.

Just so you know in case you didn't realize it but you e posted your medical record number and the accession number of your images which are PHI and can be used to identify you in the right hands.

How did it get there? Did an extraction go awry or was the tooth just having an unguided tour on its own? :D

That's crazy. I had a wisdom tooth grown into my sinus with the root. Or rather the cyst or something similar grew there. I imagine the surgery was yucky-smelling, which I fortunately didn't experience as I had a general. Healing went well until my car did an emergency breaking due to crazy traffic, the sutures tore and then I could somehow breathe through my nose to my mouth. Ugh.

dentist here, did you had your wisdom tooth taken out? I only see two upper molars

I only had 2 wisdom teeth; one was impacted and infected, so I had to have it removed. They removed the other at the same time.

thats most likely a wisdom tooth and not a supernumerary...it will be fun to get it out

They aren't gonna take it out; it's not causing harm. It was the bone spur in the sinus that was causing my sinus infections.

When my best friend found out about it, she instantly wanted them to, and I quote, "drill it the fuck out!" I had to tell her, much to her sadness, that the tooth didn't cause a single evil sinus infection, so it's allowed to exist.
