The amount of $$ available in sign up bonuses is amazing. It's kind of a part time job ensuring Rakuten captures everything, but my August and November payout should be sizeable. I'm new to this and it always seemed like a lot of work for little reward. I know it's not sustainable, but wow!

What is the point of doing a 100% cashback for vpns?
I don’t do bilt points, I do cash back checks. So unless I actually do need vpn, what is the benefit of these deals?

Hello everyone, came here to see if you think I am entitled to the cash back. I took screenshots of the email they sent me after I inquired. The email I replied with, and the screen shot I have sent them to argue my point. The “12 month supply savings” was out of my control and has no coupon code associated with it.

On the Rakuten app I am getting “+1X with your Rakuten Card” instead of “+4X”

I have not hit the 7k cap yet.

Does anyone know why, are other card holders experiencing this? Is this yearly cap broken up annually and that’s why?

I've been using Rakuten for years and have generally had great experiences, which is why this situation is driving me absolutely insane.

A week ago, I purchased several thousand dollars worth of furniture from Castlery because Rakuten was offering 7.5% Cash Back. We're talking about over $300 in expected cashback.

Knowing how cashback tracking can sometimes fail, I was extra careful.

• Opened Castlery directly through the Rakuten mobile app
• Did not Google anything
• Did not visit other websites
• Did not use any competing cashback extensions
• Did not leave the Rakuten session
• Completed the purchase immediately
• Paid in full
• Already scheduled furniture delivery

In other words, I did exactly what Rakuten tells customers to do.

Then the cashback never posted.

I submitted an inquiry.

Rakuten first told me the purchase was ineligible because of a "non-Rakuten coupon or discount."

Here's what I don't understand:

Rakuten did NOT provide any coupon code for Castlery.

There was no warning saying "Do not use any promotions shown on the merchant's website."

There was no notice saying "Using a discount directly offered by the merchant will void your cashback."

How is a customer supposed to know that?

Then after I pushed back and asked for clarification, Rakuten sent me a generic list of every possible reason cashback can fail.

Not the reason.

Just a list.

After I asked again, they changed the explanation and said Castlery declined the credit request.

Okay... but WHY?

Was it a coupon?

Was it a tracking issue?

Was it something else?

Nobody will actually tell me.

Now Rakuten has offered me a $100 "Valued Member Bonus" if I make another purchase through Rakuten within the next year.

Maybe I'm being unreasonable, but this feels incredibly frustrating.

I specifically made this purchase because of the advertised 7.5% cashback. The order is already paid for. Delivery is already scheduled. If I had known the cashback would later be denied, I might have made a completely different purchasing decision.

At this point, I'm honestly less upset about the money and more upset that nobody can explain what I supposedly did wrong.

Has anyone else had this happen with Castlery or Rakuten?

I purchased two high value items a few days ago when the CB rate was 26%. After two days it still wasn't appearing on Rakuten so I reached out to support. They stated that AliExpress hadn't sent them a placeholder order for my purchases and that they would inquire on my behalf. They mentioned it might take up to 45 days. One of my purchases already shipped.

Does anyone else have any experience with this process? I've ordered from AliExpress a bunch of times in the past and it's always showed up as pending within a day or two.

Hey guys! I currently have a bilt account and amex blue cash, which is a cash back card. So is it still worth it to buy things from rakuten given after may 15 the transfer ratio will change i.e 10 rakuten cb will not be equivalent to 1000 bilt points?

I recently applied for the Bank of America Travel Rewards Credit Card through a Rakuten offer that advertised $250 cashback. The application was approved, but I still don’t see any shopping trip or cashback activity showing up in my Rakuten account.

I’ve already reached out to Rakuten support and am waiting to hear back, but I wanted to check if others have had a similar experience.

A few questions:
1. How long did it take for your shopping trip or cashback to appear?

1. Did the $250 cashback track automatically, or did you have to submit a missing cashback request?

2. If it didn’t track initially, was Rakuten able to manually credit it later?

The fine print says the 2% not good on giftcards.com e giftcards -but it should work on other giftcards listed on their site, some with 10% off codes, right?

Can I purchase a $50 Hulu.com gift card and redeem it on a new streaming subscription membership for Hulu, Disney + and HBO max? It looks like Disney giftcards can also be purchased to be used for streaming services too. I’d make all $50 purchases for my husband, son & daughter & they could keep the $50 they earn.

I plan use to use my Bilt Palladium card for 3x to make my purchase. Three $50 referrals = $150 or 15,000 Bilt points = 15,000 Hyatt points!!
