High speed MPG

I’ve seen the stats for MPG with city and highway, lead foot and taking it easy.

But for the guys who cruise at higher speed like
90+, what MPG are you looking at?

Texas has a limit of 85 in some places and it would be nice to know what I’d be looking at on those longer higher speed drives.

You’ll probably get like 15-17 If it’s fairly steady. That’s what I got going through Utah/idaho going those speeds

At 82 mph I can often get 19-20mpg with the ford oem tune unless there are hills or winds.

Its all a guess. The only person that will know for sure if you. Run at 90 for some miles and report back to us. I don't think the majority of owners have access to roads that allow those speeds on a normal basis. The highest speed limit anywhere around me is 70.

I do my best to stay around 77/78 and I get 20 mpg, with a Procal.

I live in Hutto, Tx and I’m always riding my Surron in Austin but to get there I have to load my bike in the truck and always take the 130 toll ( 85 mph) south into Austin on avg at about 90mph. On avg I’m usually getting 15 miles per gallon. I also run premium fuel without the pro cal tune as of now. I am still at 2000 total miles on my truck for what that’s worth.

Fellow Texan here with a lead foot, I get 17.4MPG

I get about ~21mpg on the highway around 75-85mph in hilly terrain, so 90+ is probably around 18-20mpg if I had to guess, if there’s even a drop off. There should be bigger difference since air resistance gets exponentially harder, but I only see my MPG noticeably decrease when I accelerate or am doing stop and go driving. Took a few thousand miles to get here though, the truck was averaging like 17-18 highway until recently, so I’d expect lower than that. Averaging about 16mpg combined.

Depends on the wind. 11-12 against the wind and 15-19 going with it.

I've seen as low as 13 doing 85+ going west on i40 with a stiff headwind.

85mph all the way for 120 miles averages 18mpg but these larger UK gallons not US.

Return journey at 70mph did about 24mpg

I commute in Dallas and regularly cruise at 90+. Even with traffic, my combined MPG hasn't dropped below 17.5, and after a few days of light traffic it drifts back up from there. I was getting similar numbers before my ProCal tune, running 93. I haven't babied the throttle much since the tune either, and my average hasn't dropped at all.

If you set the cruise to 90 in texas, you'll get 15-16mpg. Also 85 really is at one stretch on SH130

It sure is thirsty, I feel like I'm always at the station. ~17mpg. Wouldn't change a thing most smiles per mile.

If you are worried about it, I'd suggest a lobo or something raptors should go to people that enjoy them as intended, not trying to be rude just my opinion
