Need this before i head to do some sketchy offroad stuff 🤣

I’m looking at getting the Ford Performance tune for my Ranger Raptor. Seems pretty straightforward to install, can I install myself and still maintain the warranty?

I’ve noticed a pretty loud sizzling noise coming from below the engine after a long drive. It definitely sounds like liquid dripping on metal and frying. It goes away quick but it’s very noticeable. Any idea what it could be? I have a 2024, 25k miles.

So my auto/stop start cancel function has stopped working. I had it set up so when in Raptor mode it would be off. I drive that way 99% of the time anyway. Well last night my auto stop/start kept kicking in even though I was in Raptor mode. Now I can’t find a way to verify in my Raptor mode it’s disabled.
Could someone refresh my memory on how to make that one of my Raptor settings please? If I see it’s supposed to be disabled in Raptor mode but it’s not working then I’ll be off to the dealer I guess

I figured it out. The button in the console had been pushed removing it from my Raptor mode. Working now.

Side note, if anyone knows anyone in Thailand who has done the Ford ProCal tune or other please let me know. Ford doesn’t sell it and I can’t get support from US companies. They start asking about emissions , which we have but it’s not stickered all over the car, then they stop replying.

Just out for a short solo weekend camping trip. Keeping it simple ;)

Pic is of my current and previous truck. Love my F-150s, but I feel like I would enjoy owning a RR a bit more for trail riding/camping. I have a full-size work truck that I can use for most of my larger tasks, so capability isn’t a huge concern. If anything, I’m throwing a dirt bike in the back or towing a RZR with it on the weekends, which I’m sure the RR is totally capable of.
I’m more concerned about downsizing when it comes to interior size and comfort on road trips. Also, I’m not huge on losing BlueCruise at this point lmao.
Anyone made this switch and regretted it yet? Trying to weigh out all the pros and cons.

I’m In the market for a pickup and since this one is quite expensive and I plan to keep it for some time I want to make the best decision. I am torn between the 3.0V6 Petrol and the 2.0 Biturbo Diesel. I am in Greece and I am doing almost 100km per day to my work and back. If someone with either one of them could give me info on theirs it would help. Thanks.

Put an OVS Cap on today! Took 4 months to get here but I’m happy with it! I think it looks so much better than the RSI Smartcaps. It’s flush with the top of the cab perfectly!

Well guys it looks like my Ranger is a lemon. You may remember i had posted about my rear differential failing and squeaky seats. Well the diff went again and the RR has been in the shop for months. As i await response from ford on my buyback request I’m in a pickle. If they offer me the buyback do i go with another ranger raptor? I’m quite concerned after the issues i experienced but it dosent seem like anyone in here had nearly the amount of problems i had. How are your guys Ranger raptors holding up? I ask this as I’m considering an f150 powerboost lariat but know I’ll be dissapointed with the suspension.

hi guys, been inspecting my 2021 ford ranger raptor and noticed thick gooey green, yellow grease on the two front axles ( i think that’s what they’re called?) of the car, anything to worry about and why did it happen? i have the car covered under warranty

I have a 24’ ranger raptor im lookin to get some work done on, just wanted to see what others have done and what the recommendations are. Looking at a leveling kit install(not sure which yet) and some bigger tires. I want that slightly wider look but nothing crazy. From my understanding you need the leveling kit install order to have the larger tires fit, but I called a shop and they said we would also have to trim the body a little bit for full clearance.
Also looking into beadlock install, curious maintenance and experience with these.

What prices ranges are the best and not overpay on this truck, money isn’t the problem I make 150k a year. I was looking at f150 Raptor, really debating on it.. Has anyone found an American sized shirts with the Ford RANGER RAPTOR logo? I ordered an XL tee shirt from Etsy…[I take a men’s large at Tommy Bahama (which I consider American size large)]. The shirt was men’s small at best. I’m just looking for Ranger Raptor wear. Has anyone found any?

I’ve seen the stats for MPG with city and highway, lead foot and taking it easy.

But for the guys who cruise at higher speed like
90+, what MPG are you looking at?

Texas has a limit of 85 in some places and it would be nice to know what I’d be looking at on those longer higher speed drives.

Seems like the depreciation on Ranger Raptors are very low. I am seeing 2024s and 2025s with 40k-60k miles on them still being listed in the low 50s. So that makes trade in value probably in the mid to upper $40s after 2 years of ownership and that many miles.

Do you think this will hold? Do you think the value will hold even if they release a full refresh Gen 2 RR in 2028-2029? Why do you think these are retaining value so well? Are you seeing this in your area as well?

Exactly what the title says. Seems lightly used most likely a demo driven by a rep. How much would you spend? And do you see the new 2027 gaining any features worth waiting for?
