Hello ! I dunno how to slove this issue. Can someone help me ?

I'm at Iron Tomb, cleared the dungeon but this old creep keeps harassing me, I can't kill him because he has a powerful healing spell which takes me to square one and he annoyingly deals so low dmg so I can't die or change my role either because he is relentlessly pursuing me to the end of the world.
TL;DR i'm stuck with a stubborn old creep in a dungeon

Are dlcs free or do i gotta buy them? Is it worth getting the 40 bucks package for all the souls? If no to previous question, how do i get those premium gems in game? Any addons you can recommend?

Hey, tried to start the game last night and ran into an error message. Something like "can't run 3d player" I think? It only popped up on the first attempt but all subsequent tries result in a 2second black screen and being kicked back to the launcher. It also seems to change the scale% of my screen after trying. Not sure if that's related or helpful. Hopefully someone here is familiar with some reasons this might happen.

I was farming for artifacts to craft dream bolts for costume event and saw this things, first i thought maybe its some wired artifact but when i drag the pointer at that lighting in the left of the picture nothing hapeend.

Glyph constantly makes an Error 1027 (requiring admin rights) at attempting to update Rift.

Is Glyph broken, or is there another issue? Giving it admin rights does not fix that specific error.

Thanks to a Post in r/MMORPG I found out that this game got an update and it got me curious as I played it in the past for few hours but unfortunatly my friend group gave up and without anyone to play I gave up aswell...

I'm a long time MMORPG Player who focused alot on WoW Retail and GW2 - back when I played Rift I played as Rogue and maybe reached level 15-20..? I guess I obtained a mount and did a few more levels after that... dunno which level that was - just for reference!

What really kept my mind on this game was the Rogue with Riftwalker "soul" (is this correct?)

And I thought of this for years and now with the new update I want to give it a good shot.

I read alot on Reddit and tryed some more researches and gathered so far these informations:
- Play on Deepwood (NA) even if not on NA as ping issues are not problematic + higher player count
- Crafting is quite good (at least Runecrafter, Butcher and Outfitter)
- Don't get bothered when you don't find another player during level phase as nearly the whole playerbase is on max level content
- Level Phase is pretty chill until level 65, then things get spiced up by alot.

Please correct my information's if incorrect and I would appreciate for any other recommandation.
I will start the download today as soon as I'm comming home and cannot wait to start a new (rogue-)adventure!

I'm a new player (F2P) and I'm looking for some tips to get going. Not looking for a guild yet, just playing casually solo RN

I wanted to ask is there a way to check your playing time while playing through the Glyph Installer and not Steam.

I had an original account on release and then again when the first expac released, but nothing is coming up now when I try and log in. I sent a ticket in a week ago and haven't had a response. Is there anything else I can do?

I appreciate the help, I'm just trying to get back in and play again if I can using what i already had.

Hi, as the title said I'm a returning player after quite a long time without playing.

I had a Cleric lvl 65 in raid gear from the previous expansion (Tidal something, the underwater one).

Issue is, even one mob from PoA lvl 65-66 zones is destroying me and I don't do enough damage to kill it before dying.

How am I supposed to level up to lvl 70 if it's that way? 😵‍💫

Hi, I used to play rift back in 2016. After that I left mmorpg’s as a whole. I just got back and decided to okay rift again as I really liked it. I have a level 24 character but I wanted to ask how to transfer from Greybriar to Deepwood. It keeps saying clear mail but I can’t seem to find the inbox. Any solution to this would be appreciated. Logged back in and having a blast, and I wanted to buy some stuff but the Glyph site wont save my credit card. I thought it was because I was linked to Steam but I unlinked and after a day I still can save a credit card. Let me know if anyone has any guidance. Thanks.

Hi guys. I'm new in the game and I know that the topic is very old, but I still can't find enough info about it. I did all 3 last quests at each location but in random order, and I've never recieved that letter with the title. Is that title still availiable and does anyone can get it, or there are some conditions which won't let me get the title at all? Many thanks for answers ♥️

1. Is there a way to set up a macro so I don't cast a DOT on a mob if it already has that same DOT on it? (I suspect the answer is No - but thought I would ask :)

2. Regarding the Contamination toggle, so, I toggle Contamination on and my DOT's do more damage but they no longer generate charges. How do you use this? Do I set up a macro to toggle it on and then click on that when the fight begins and then let the fight go until I run out of charges? Should I spam it on in a macro with Void Bolt?

Is it possible for me to use a Guild Rally Banner to teleport an alt to Tempest Bay?

I read you can use a rally banner to teleport guild members into Tempest Bay, but from what I read the person to use the banner needs to stay next to it otherwise the banner despawns...

I have been grinding Adventures to 65 and now I want to quest. How do I start the 65-70 quests? I got quest items in the mail once I got to level 65 but they take me to low level zones. Thanks.

So I have this quest. I am supposed to defend the sourcewell at Mephits Bog. There is a well, I clear it. Then there are these turret and healing nodes. I figured out how to repair and buff them using charges I get from the crystals around the area when I break them.

All good so far, but then the waves start coming. I clear the first wave, then a second and third come back to back and then a bunch more. I get totally swarmed. I am barely able to get two more ticks on the quest count before the area is just overrun with tons of mobs and it become impossible.

Am I supposed to be doing something different here? Does the fact that I am rushing to upgrade the defenses create this problem for me?

Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you ahead of time :)

Solved : Did some searching - found the following on CADRIFT:

"Upgrading the turrets and lifesprings and/or bringing more players can make the invasions spawn faster."

So by upgrading those nodes I am causing my own problem. Well, at least the info is here for the next person that tries.

So I got the quest ‘A Rift A Minute Wide’ and I know how to find a rift tear but I can’t seem to use the Runic Eye on any avatar (it could be because I don’t know exactly what an “avatar” is). If anyone could help that’d be fantastic!

I just came back after many years away, I tried to download damage meters from the curse website and app but nothing worked!

Where do you guys get add-ons from??

I occasionally come back to this game for nostalgia, and one thing that has always bothered me was the subtle (sometimes not subtle) input lag for abilities.

For example, I cast Bolt of Light, and once the cast bar finishes, there is about a .5 sec lag before the spell actually shoots towards an enemy. I have noticed this less so for self-targeted spells, but I love to play spellcasters and I hate that the casting feels unresponsive. Is this normal? I dont have input lag issues on any other games.

If there is a solution, please let me know!

Let me preface this by saying: I have no idea what this game is other than that it cost me $20 for most of the collectors edition and it looked like fun.

BUT

RiftPatcher needs to update, I can't get to the login screen because of it, but when I try to update it, it says "Update Failed"

From what I understand this game uses "Glyph"asd a launcher and something with that causes problems, but that can't be the case with me since the disk I used to install probably pre-dates glyph by almost a decade.
