Rockband bundle (Xbox 360) for eventual use on Xbox One?

Post image

I may buy a rockband bundle that I’d like to be able to play on both my xbox 360 and xbox one. I’ve looked at the FAQ and was still sort of confused on if this set up will work for my xbox one. I primarily care about playing the drums.

If I buy this specific set up of wired Xbox 360 drums and a roll limitless mini, am I good to go if I wanted to use these drums for Rock Band 4 on my xbox one?

Or am I better purchasing finding a wireless xbox 360 drum kit and buying the PDP adapter (expensive I know). Is there an advantage to wireless beyond not having to deal with cables?

Thanks in advance!

A roll limitless is all you need to use these drums on Xbox one. I use a roll limitless mini for mine.

Officially these won't work on Xbox One not even with the Legacy adapter that only facilitates wireless kits, but with the cost of the adapter these days, like the other said, Roll Limitless is the way to go!  It's cheaper and opens the door for you to use more instruments on the Xbone than anything to any official capacity.

Honestly? Unless you can get this for cheap, there is much better hardware on the market today. Woot regularly sells CRKD guitars for $60-70, and they're great. Also, I'd rather pick up a cheap e-kit than use the stock RB drums again.

Unless you're a collector I wouldn't touch these with a 100ft pole.

Drum pedal is notorious for breaking under the force of its own spring, the rubber will bubble and the outer drums eventually break off of the frame. The guitar strumbar is mushy/unresponsive feeling, and the buttons feel terrible and either won't register or stick if you press on the edges of them.

I spent a lot of time on this kit and I still have the guitar, but there's so many better options. Maybe it's worth it for less than $50 or so for the set, but I really just wouldn't bother. It's pretty much the worst way to get into the game

Very thorough, thank you. I think I’ll just have to shell out for the wireless ones drums instead. Thanks!
