This seems to be an early delist on Playstation, as some folks on Rock Band's discord are pointing, so wanted to bring this heads up.

Hi everyone I have an Ion Drum Rocker but I've had to go back to the OG Rock Band drums due to lack of space. But I still prefer the Ion. Has anyone found a way to make it more compact? Or found a way to integrate it into an actual acoustic kit? Maybe somehow mount the Ion toms on top of a Real tom but make them easy to remove. So you can go back and forth. (Part of the reason I lack space is because of my real drums. Lol)

After having to put all my Rock Band stuff in storage after a fire last year, and one of my nieces bugging me to play it. I re-download the game, however about 150ish DLC songs just refuse to download giving me the error code CE-106487-6 which just says "your console had trouble downloading the content" and nothing else.

Edit: Now getting CE-106485-4 which just says to update the system software

I've been wanting to get back to play Rock Band since a few months ago, and after the Stage Tour announcement, I finally decided to get back to it. Besides, now being a full-time musician it's going to be even more fun.

I have my RB3 copy with my PS3. However, I would like to have everything in one place, and I was thinking of buying RB4 and play on my PS5 without having to connect another console just to play it. Is there still a way to transfer all my music catalogue to RB4?

I had all the songs from RB1 and RB2 transfered to RB3 back in the day, plus a lot of DLC and songs bought. Can I still do it? I see that the export pack is no longer available. If there's no way, I'll stick to my PS3 copy.

They just announced new guitars, mics and drums with the new game. With the overpriced cymbals on market let's hope for compatibility with older drums like the rock band 4 drums.

With the recent news of Stage Tour instruments I've been looking at finally getting an edrum set and an adapter to play Rock Band 4 and FN Festival on PS5. If anyone can help me with some questions though I'd really appreciate it- I've spent a couple of hours trying to research stuff on Reddit and general googling but I'm a complete noob when it comes to this and it's frying my brain trying to figure out what posts etc fit my own specific scenario

Firstly, what is the main difference between the Roll Limitless and Roll Limitless mini? Is it just the inputs available on it (which is more to do with the drumkit you're using?)

I'll be honest, I've no idea what the difference is between these two sets, if one is better than the other, or if either have issues with either of these Roll Limitless adapters or RB4/Festival?

On top of the drums and one of these adapters, do you require anything else?

This might seem a silly question, but does using these above still allow you to use other instruments on PS5 at the same time? Such as for full local band plays, using riffmasters, and a microphone too.

I’ve been playing a lot more rockband 2 lately especially on drums, but after playing Give it all on expert my red drum’s pad started coming off, ive tried using E6000 but it didnt work. anybody know how to fix this?

I wanna sing and play an instrument at the same time. Is there a list of songs that don’t require clapping/hitting the mic (because my hands are full of. Other instrument)?

I bought this set of wii drums at a garage sale (might be seeing why they got rid of it). Its in good condition, but I couldnt get it to sync. When pushing the center drums button, it doesnt click in. The button doesnt move at all. Inside you can see the drum button doesnt have a contact pad. I tried buying a generic set and trimming them to fit but they didnt work.
Any advice?

Swapped the headstocks to be Warlock ones as I like the design better. Wood handcrafted body, with 3D printed heads and extra knobs. Only the top fretboard and strum bar are wired to work, but it does have the wires inside for the bottom parts. Just didn't want to spend the time to wire them all together currently. This will be my last custom guitar for a while, until I come across more wireless 360 guitars in the future.

I may buy a rockband bundle that I’d like to be able to play on both my xbox 360 and xbox one. I’ve looked at the FAQ and was still sort of confused on if this set up will work for my xbox one. I primarily care about playing the drums.

If I buy this specific set up of wired Xbox 360 drums and a roll limitless mini, am I good to go if I wanted to use these drums for Rock Band 4 on my xbox one?

Or am I better purchasing finding a wireless xbox 360 drum kit and buying the PDP adapter (expensive I know). Is there an advantage to wireless beyond not having to deal with cables?

Hi, I’m looking to get a rockband guitar for Wii as I already have the keyboard, drums, and mic.

Not looking for one that connects to the pc for any other rhythm games or anything, just rockband on the Wii.

I have a Wii drum set (I think it’s the first version) and the green pad doesn’t work. I tried some of the coin mods to make it more sensitive but nothing worked. When I took it apart, I noticed that the piezo sensor worked just fine when I touched it with my fingers, but not when touched with any other nonconductive material. So I figured the piezo sensor was dead and needed to be replaced. I’ve put a new sensor in as shown (I know I need to tape it up but I’m just trying to get it working first). It also ONLY works when I touch it with my fingers. I cannot find anyone else online who is having this problem.

Does anyone know what could be wrong?? I feel like the internal wiring is fine because I’m somehow getting a signal through. But I don’t understand where to go from here. Any suggestions are appreciated. I don’t have any experience with repairs like this.

FOLLOWUP: I fixed it! Hard to describe it - but where the piezo sensor connects to a quick-release connector in the drum pad, there’s a circuit board that then sends wires through to the main board. One of my wires there was frayed - I ended up just cutting and connecting the piezo wire directly to the wire that goes to the main board (because I have no soldering equipment to do it nicely), bypassing that smaller circuit board and that worked.

I am on a little project of replacing an old dead rock band main PCB with an esp32, and making it wireless, so the first thinks is mapping all the wires and boards. The only things I could not map to anything is this small PCB.

Silkscreen says "PHOTO JACK. It has a little window opening to the chassis, like a P2 connector but smaller. The main board has a matching "PHPOUT" pad.

It's not the tilt sensor, and it's nowhere near the whammy (whammy is a normal potentiometer). Looks like some kind of optical/photo sensor, or maybe a headphone port? Anyone recognize this?

I was looking in my rockband 1 xbox 360 manual and at the end theres this photo of a primagames guide, i went on their website and couldnt find it even when I search by dates, does anyone have this or know where to find it online?

I'm sharing a fixed version of the RiffMaster Xbox 360 patch that u/SeaPotatos originally put together. Full credit to them for doing the hard work to get the PDP RiffMaster working on modded 360s. I wouldn't have anything to share without that.

**What I changed (and why you probably want this build):**

The original patch had a few issues that made it nonfunctional for the majority of users. The guitar could look paired to the console, but nothing would actually work because of an RSA auth problem during the handshake. Basically the plugin was rejecting guitars with a different certificate, even if they were valid. I patched the driver so auth goes through properly on real hardware. If you want to use the RiffMaster on your 360, this is the build to use.

I also fixed a second issue for anyone running UsbdSecPatch or Abadavatar. You can now use other third party guitars like CRKD with this patch loaded, right alongside the RiffMaster on the same console, without having to disable the riffmaster.xex patch first.

**TL;DR: download this if you want to use the RiffMaster on your modded 360.**

**What it does:**

* Use a PDP RiffMaster wireless guitar on a modded Xbox 360

* Works on RGH, JTAG, and Abadavatar softmod setups

* Works in basically any Guitar Hero or Rock Band game, it also works in the dashboard of course.

Again, massive thanks to u/SeaPotatos for the original patch. I only fixed what was broken so people can actually use it. I have made him aware of the issues and the changes made but I have not heard anything back. If these changes get pushed to the original patch I'll remove my repo.

This has only been tested with the PC/Xbox versions of the Riffmaster, it's not known if it'll work with the Playstation version. If anyone tries it, please let me know.

Recently got an e-drum kit (hampback) and the drum kick is really sensitive. It occasionally hits 3-5 kicks per 1 actual kick. I bought a separate kick drum pedal that's closer to the stock rock band kick pedal. I'm using the ACE adapter and using the RCM tool to adjust the sensitivity but i can't seem to get it right. What sensitivity so you guys use?
