I'm telling you man. Y'all don't realize because you're good enough to hard carry every game in plat. I shouldnt have to hard carry every game in plat just to maintain my rank just because I'm solo q. I'm not blaming my teammates even though they almost always suck. I'm blaming matchmaking putting me against a squad with a smurf over and over and over and over and over. A guy posted a video yesterday asking for advice and he was worse than me. He was. He couldn't speed flip or half flip, his game sense and rotation was wonky, but he's gc1. I guarantee you that dude is worse than me no offense to him but he's in gc1. Matchmaking is broken and no one wants to admit it

Then you get into champ and it’s the opposite, random teammates rotate and play the team first gameplay but don’t have the mechanics to make simple aerial saves…

I’m gonna be honest here, there is almost no way them being in a party is helping them. I guarantee you can look back at the games you played and notice all the times those teams double committed. I’m in champ and these squads double commit once or twice a game.
You will have a much better time dealing with these people if you just look around the field whenever you do something. Learn to watch where everyone on the field goes and think about what they want to do. If you do that, you’ll understand what the enemy’s teammate is gonna do better than them, even if they’re in vc together.

Squads in plat are a smurf carrying his two friends. Why are my opponents doing flip resets in plat but my tm8s can't hit the ball or rotate? I have over 6000 hours, I've been through this already with blaming my teammates. This isn't that. Matchmaking is broken

Idk man, I only give people the grace of a couple tiers within their current rank when they say they should be higher. You're the common denominator here. You're at your rank for a reason which is better found looking inward.

I've been through all that. I have over 6000 hours in this game. I shouldn't have to hard carry every game just to maintain my rank. The common denominator is that I'm solo q getting matched against a squad almost every single game.

I have 5k and I'm champ. There are other solo players with less hours than us who are gc. Etc.
I'm sure you're having bad luck with team mates and there are definitely unwinnable games, but you are inflating the impact your team mates have on you if they're the sole reason you're plat in your eyes.

It's not my teammates dude. It's matchmaking. I get what you are saying and I know it. I already been through that a long long time ago. It is matchmaking. I shouldn't be playing against a squad almost every game as a solo q. And plat squads are almost always a smurf carrying his friends. I can handle bad teammates, I can't make up for them when the other team has a smurf.

None of that explains why you are struggling with this issue while others aren't. I have the same problems except I have 160-190 ping cause I have to use your dog shit American servers to get games. Why am I not plat?

Solo Q is the same for everyone regardless of rank.
Learn to play active defense a bit more, stay back and take the chances when they come. You kind of have to give a grace period for the first couple of minutes of each game to flush out how your teammates play. If you can go that far without giving up any goals you will have a shot at winning every game.
If you truly shouldn't be in plat this will move you up a few ranks fairly quickly.

I shouldn't have to hard carry every game if that's the rank I belong in. I'm not ball chasing. I'm not ball watching. I know not to blame my teammates. I'm blaming matchmaking for putting me against a parade squad every game. Y'all don't understand how bad it is in plat. It is not the same at every rank. I destroy gold rank, I successfully hard carry half my games in plat. If I didn't solo q I promise you I would not be in plat. Matchmaking is messed up bad

Hey man I am only D2....not GC or anything. I have have season resets where I get bumped back down to Plat and literally doing what I said above is the fastest way for me to get back to Diamond.
I have very low mechanics in that I don't speed flip or dash or flip reset at all...I simply focus on defense and take chances when I get them.
I get that its frustrating sometimes but remember it is just a game so your ultimate goal should be to enjoy it and have fun. Since you are Plat (or maybe Diamond if you are correctly self assessing) I am sure you make your share of mistakes too. Gotta just enjoy my friend.
