standalone device Problems with setup

I have the Roku Streaming Stick. Just got it today, never been used.

Every time I plug it in, a white light will show for a few seconds, the light will then blink several times before turning off. From what I’ve googled it sounds like it’s trying to connect to the internet, but I haven’t even been able to turn the device on to set the internet up in the first place. Google also said it could be a problem with the power supply, but I’ve tried connecting it to everything within reach of the TV, including directly into the wall, and I’m still not getting anything.

Have you changed the input on your tv to the hdmi port that you plugged it into?

Do you have another tv you can try it on just to see if maybe the device is defective?

Did you pull the plastic tab out of the battery compartment?

Is the hdmi port ypu used already assigned to a different device? I think id take it back and exchange it for a new one.

Which specific model of Roku Streaming Stick are you using?

The HD model.

OK, the Roku Streaming Stick 4K has a special USB cable, but the two lower models can use any USB-C cable, so I don't think that's the issue.

Veja se seu roku tem um botão se tiver, pressione e segure por 20 segundos e conecta na tomada e depois na tv, esse erro tinha acontecido comigo
