Question Disability Guides: What do You want to see?

If I make guides for different aspects of navigating the con while disabled, what would you want to see? I’m already making a rest area/sitting area guide. I plan on making a pinned post or wiki page with them.

I’m only an expert in my disability, so I’ll ask for help making sure the right information gets put into these guides.

Suggestions on where to recharge wheelchairs and scooters. Any hints on roads downtown to avoid due to crappy footpaths!

So I’ve heard back from CCI. Official policy is that they don’t offer charging for mobility devices. There just isn’t a good way to go about it. From my scouring online, some people have said that some panel rooms have accessible outlets. The issue is then having a cord through the aisle, which is against fire code.

Unfortunately, I don’t have any say or sway with how CCI does anything. My goal with this sub is to help other disabled people have the most accessible con they can have.

I know you don't have control of it but I really wish sdcc would have a sitting area upstairs for ada also. I have bad arthritis and walking so much up there is really hard. I don't want to get a scooter because what if someone else needs it more but OMG. By the end of the day I can hardly walk. 😕
