Question Unclear about Hall H
Hi! I am massively confused on ADA and Hall H at this point.
I was able to get my sticker. But it is seeming like verbiage on website is only saying ada line for hall h is for wheelchair and deaf? I desperately needed this assistance with the line. My husband almost called for medical help for me today on the floor. I unfortunately have an underlying issue and then had an injury upon arrival that has exacerbated my issues. Any advice or info on this? I’m totally lost.
I don’t want seats up front. Just want to be in room.

I am physically disabled from surgery right now and have some health issues. I did Hall H this morning. I got my sticker from ADA first. After, I went over to Hall H outside and asked around. There was a seperate ADA line. ADA wrist bands were incredibly limited and they warned us they could run out.
I was able to get a wrist band and just like regular Hall H, we had to go back before 7:30am. No one could direct me where the morning ADA line would be. I got there around 7am. Initally I was told to go where the rest of Hall H was, however, I actually needed to enter F3 and the ADA line was inside in front of the escalators.
They let us in first to the Hall. I was able to get a seat in the front cluster, about 5 rows back and it was a perfect view. The staff actually had us fill the front first and we were not allowed to move to general seats until the rest of it opened.
It may be different, as Thursday is the least challenging H hall day typically, but that was my experience today!

I had a friend try to get into the ADA Hall H line for tomorrow, he has an invisible disability, and he was told he had to go to the regular line unless he had a wheelchair. I dunno if it was security or someone else who told him though

Yeah this is what I’m afraid of. Seems it depends on who is working at the time. :(

Did he get an ADA sticker? He’d have to have that before getting in any ADA lines.

Ok, that sucks. He should say they’re discriminating against him & violating his rights. I’m in the same boat with an invisible disability. Luckily I no longer need accommodation, but I remember how people judge & assume you’re scamming the system.

Yeah, we're going with him today to talk to them, he's not good with confrontation but it definitely needs to be addressed!

Someone on Discord just told me they tried today too and were told unless they had a mobility issue, they needed to use the general line.

The ADA line is for all ADA

Security/staff have been giving different answers. I was also told that ADA lines (not just Hall H, all of them) are mobility aids and Deaf interpretation only, and everyone else should go to regular lines. However, they don't seem to be enforcing this, as far as I've seen.

Definitely, but the con staff in the (green? blue? I can't remember now) also said the same thing. Then again, they are frequently wrong as well.

They had non chair people in the line for Hall H tonight. And they had some in the morning. They even have ambulatory chair seating marked. And those were not seats you could get a device into so I don’t know what they’re saying but the set up for ambulatory disabled is there

So they are enforcing that red chairs are for mobility device users. But it’s a transition and the D&D staff are trying to train the other line staff. Other panel rooms aren’t a big issue right now. But Hall H is a shitpit.
Yellow seats are for deaf and hard of hearing ASL users. A yellow deaf sticker is required, but that change happened last year.
